Breakout needs volume, or its not a breakout.
Because the exchange situation is particularly precarious, perhaps the volume is not in the exchanges. Also, the downtrend was unusually long, so the sellers were thoroughly exhausted as a result. In the beginning of the breakout, the advancing armies of the buyers meet no resistance, but the breakout is nevertheless real for the reason that ground is taken (although no hostages). No Hostages! ROFL. (well admittedly I was already reclining so it wasn't really on the floor, but a great laugh anyhow.) |

Well I sure hope we get some real accredited exchanges that people can trust sooner than later. Trying to know market sentiment if the action is off exchanges is kind of difficult...

Not surprised, Stamp has been going downhill for a while, the first gox like signs are showing. I personally have taken all fund off stamp a few weeks ago after the fee thing and these intrusive reports started emerging. "Sign a personal Bitcoin address, prove the source of every coin". Uh, no thanks. Not because its dodgy but because that would be pretty fucking immpossible. |

Its worth noting as well that although they 'proved' solvency in February the 'audit' was from November. Pretty big difference eh. Not saying anything definite but the first warning signs are there. |
