I wanna live forever not because I'm afraid of death but because I want to live long enough and watch how will our world end.
If It's human cause, Nature's wrath, The quiet death of the sun, or a blackhole that will erase everything. I want to be the author
of a new book of the Earth's Origin and its final moments.

If you've already watched "interview with a vampire", read "twilight" series or even watched "full metal alchemist" they tackled this before. If you live forever, at some point, boredom will get to you and you will be void of purpose. Living forever alone is another downside to it. You will have to watch your loved ones die and you will live on. If say you're not alone, living forever takes you out of a mortal perspective; being that you won't appreciate life because it's a constant.

I see no point in an immortal existence. The new body will have to learn everything from scratch.

No. Life must have meaning, and eternal existence will be devoid of such meaning and will not bring any benefit to a person when he already reaches all he dreamed of.

So long as i would look younger than i am, body without disease, i mean yes!!! It would suck to live forever with an amputated leg and diabetes. Going back, with the condition above, i would choose to live forever then watch technology advance and then watch my enemies crumble to dust

I am still unsure. I want to live forever, just to see the world, learn the history, be part of the history and also to do some things I didn't think I have time for. Plus it is good to live without fearing of being sick and without fearing of death. On the other hand, I have to see my love ones die. And I have to live alone forever

To be honest, right now I don't really have a good reason to stay alive forever. So i really wouldn't prefer being immortal!

Definitely, but hopefully there will also be some successful research done on cognitive improvement. Otherwise we might see dumb people living too long, just making kids and raising them to be dumb-asses as well.

Yes. I want to choose to live forever because I wanna watch how the world will change in the future and I want to see my family grow up.

I would definitely want to live forever while remaining to be looking young. Living forever is really awesome because you get to see what will happen in the future and how far humans and technology can advance. It would definitely be the greatest gift for me if I'll be able to witness all of those.

Yes obviously I would and most of us would.
Everything in moderation though. I think living like 1000 years would be way to long but i dont
think that the average human life span is long enough for us to experience everything we want to in life.
So yes to living longer

We are all afraid of dying but I dont want to live forever as long as my looks stops at the age 25. But if not , I just need to live my life to the fullest.

When I was younger, I would have loved to. The older I get, the less I am interested in living forever. I'm in my forties now. My Grandma who lived to be 88, she said she was ready. That's the natural course, the old pass on.... let's not fight it.

Heck no! I am in my 50s, I am old. And that keeps me waking up each day full of life. The idea of living forever just takes all the carpe diem out of life!

Never. Would you like to see everyone around you getting old and die? It is the same Problem Highlander has had. Sounds not good to me.

i want to live forever, but even if the scientist proved that there is a chemical test that can possible help those who dreamed to be looking younger forever, i didn't want to live with using many chemicals, I just want to live forever in heaven with my loves once.

Imagine if the population of the earth will live forever, where people settle? Another thing, if I live to a ripe old age, and physical age match the age of 40. Live out their lives in perfect health and not one could depend on . Here is an option I would agree.

If I could chose when I died, yes. All other chases no. If death became a choice, in terms of euthanasia, yes. I think people should have the right to live a life they can find satisfying, or at least have a decent chance at it.

Being immortal, IE never able to die, would be a curse, but not denying from old age, would make us able to see the world, learn, and improve ourselves, until we think our time has come.
