And that's why I think eqt devs should work in a dinamyc retargeting algo to avoid this type of chain kidnapping. With the hashing power in the market in 2017, long fixed diff coins could have real problems because of this.

But this is impossible because mining SCRYPT with GPU is waisting energy for peanuts.

No soft cap, there was just a hard cap of approx 316 bitcoins.

88.6% have been sold (279 BTC) during the ICO, the 11.4% left (EQT not sold) have been burned.

Guys, you have a real problem with the diff. Some pool is playing with it with your permision and that's not good for investors. Fair mining is fundamental in a POW coin, and there is not fair mining in $EQT. OTHO, proyect is nice, but...

Is there a reason the developer/team wishes to remain anonymous? Not that there is anything wrong with it, many choose this path... however, this is the kind of project that will benefit greatly knowing that an experience and credible developer is behind it.
