Very less hidden charges compared to bank transactions, PayPal is useless for India as they charge hefty fees, I know this because I have sent some money recently to India. To OP: there are many reasons for indians to turn towards e currency or bitcoins, population, demonetization and fees on Fiat transactions may be the major ones.

Yes, lesser fees services are mostly preferred. More and more indian people are using bitcoins because day by day the internet is getting accessible to more people and few of them use bitcoins. It is the increasing popularity of bitcoins, and a way to earn online, that has encouraged the people indulge more in bitcoins, thereby getting all the benefits offered by cryptocurrencies.

Yes, I have heard that from my Indian friends, most of them complained about the local online payment and PayPal which cost them more than 5% fee, when they withdraw money to the local bank.and in this process, sometimes it may charge some hidden fee.

It seems epay is the best for transferring to bank as they charge only 1% and nothing hidden as per them. Could some share the demerits of paypal and what is the exact % they charge when transferring to Indian bank a/c?

Indians need INR. Do you support transfers in INR? Can we deposit BTC and withdraw Perfect Money from our accounts?
Why do you need senders bitcoin address? People use exchanges to send bitcoin and they don't know the bitcoin address then. What needs to be done then?

After 6 months post demonetisation, you might have heard that if you dont have minimum balance in your account,it is highly likely that you have pay fine. With this thing,i would say that india should start using bitcoins and start educating people that with bitcoins, there is freedom all over.

To 'reduce fees' in the long run, guys, start using cryptos as currencies. Help some local merchants accept crypto. Make yourself the 'P2P guy' -- buy and sell quantities of cryptos with cash, silver, and barter goods. Do it for zero fees.
Steadily push government money from the system.

but no matter which kind of ecurrency or bitcoin you use. at the end time, you will need to withdraw to a bank as cash to use. so i think 1%fee may help you a lot of for withdraw
