I just received a Private Message from someone stating that they are reviving PandaCoin. I don’t really have any purpose in purchasing this coin anymore since the people that built the platform left a long time ago.
Why should anyone invest in this coin? The whole thing just looks like some person holding a bunch of coins wants out and is willing to pretend that he/she is going to bring PandaCoin any real use within the real world.

My wallet is slow. Like reeeeally slow to sync. (I'm on linux if it can help, but I've had the same experience on windows with the latest wallet version).

I restated from the snapshot form Cryptopia (linked in the official website)

Nice to see you are synced up, it will sync faster if it is locked during sync, then unlock for stake mining.

I also have linux wallet. This is what I did:
1. Download the latest linux wallet (you already hae that)
2. Download the snapshot from Downloads section of the site
3. Run it (with one of the nodes, for example

./pandacoin-qt -addnode=107.174.34.77

This is because linux wallet is not updated to the newest seeds
4. Wait for it to sync. I synced in hybrid mode. Jommy says that if the wallet is locked, it will sync faster
5. Lite mode never earns any stake. You need Hybrid or Classic.
6. Top right of the wallet is a yellow rectangle with "Lock/Unlock" use that

just discovered the PandaCoin.
I like the idea because it is a Chinese Coin,
Should regulations one day hit hard,
This coin may be on the rise.

So far, have seen only exchange with other crypto coins.
