There is 2 way to keep it safe. one is get a ledger nano S, it cost around $110, but worth it, you can store 4 different coin and nobody can access it, except you. Another way to store bitcoin is get a desktop wallet such as Electrum, it is very user friendly, and very easy to use. You can control the fee, and generate unlimited address. good luck

only a properly created cold storage or a trusted hardware wallet.
you can search for some hardware wallets if you are not tech savvy or don't want to bother learning how tos and if you are willing to pay. things such as Trezor or Ledger nano would work.

or you can learn more about cold storage and do it yourself easily. like creating a paper wallet with tools such as https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org or make a Trezor like cold storage on your USB disk yourself

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Cold_storage

Yes if we only store our bitcoin withouth doing trading on exchanger.
And how if we want store our bitcoin in good and safety place and the other hand, we need to trade it sometime.
If we send from hardware wallet to exchanger and again send it to hardwallet from exchanger, i think its not good idea.

Hardware wallets can give the security key Trion is one of the safe key and it will give profit if you will keep your bitcoin save for long time. I am more complicated by storing btc in wallet offline and if want to sell must transfer from at must save btc at exchanger

I used to use offline paper wallets but I’d rather use a hardware device to hold my Bitcoin. If you lose the keys, then you lose your coins. It has happened to multiple people, and I have seen at least one thread here in Bitcointalk.

None other thing but download an application which is mostly trusted by bitcoin users, and also monitor your wallet time by time for you to be aware if there is something unusual or more likely you feel like you have been hacked by an unknown people. Because hackers everywhere and it is definitely hard to stop them.

Base on my knowledge, first we need a wallet that has high security like a coinbase. Coinbase is a Bitcoin corporation founded in San Francisco, and coinbase is the world’s primary Bitcoin negotiator, and also offers an exchange, wallet, The Coinbase wallet security is to have a coins vault have an ability to protect our bitcoin. Before you create an account on the coinbase you need to verify your email and phone and some security steps. Always remember the only person to trust is your family. Just keep in private don’t share your password with stranger.

I think the safest way to keep bitcoin is we should keep our bitcoin through ledger wallet if you will keep it for the long time. Invest then forget return until your satisfied with your gain. But when your into trading you cannot just keep it in the ledger you must find reputable exchange for your coins. You really have to monitor your account from time to time as well.

i Think the safety way are :
1. Always clear history your browser
2. never tell to someone else about your private key wallet
3. Put your private key in a folder and make a password to open the folder

I think the safest way on how to keep your bitcoin is by keeping all of your accounts and passwords only to yourself. Dont give all of that even to your family, relatives and close friends. It is better for you to keep it private. If you are really scared about losing your bitcoin, use a strong wallet that can surely protect your bitcoin from any hacker. But keep in mind that being hacked is inevitable because there are many very skilled hackers around the world.

Yes, I agree with you. Hardware wallet is more secure than the online wallet. You can download official Bitcoin wallet and other wallet and store Bitcoin on those wallets. Those wallets are very secure.

The safest way to store bitcoins, you can keep control of your coins with a 38-paper beep or cool storage purse. Be sure to use a strong passphrase. You can generate a paper wallet here: bitcoinpaperwallet.com - You can make it offline and print it for secure storage.

If anyone wants to save Bitcoin or hold Bitcoin, they should use some hard disk purses or some privacy storage.
or make a backup copy and save it on a USB drive

or you have a very secure offline storage with a backup if your computer is damaged or stolen.

Cold storage is the best way to keep your bitcoin on your computer or put it on your USB which is also an option but still nowadays hackers can do anything now and its not hard for them to hack also your personal computer to be always careful that you protect your computer with hacks and bugs that can potentially lose your bitcoin. Make sure that your computer is secured and don't go on websites that are prone to hacks or download files that are new to you be always careful about where you put your bitcoin.

I agree with you this is the best way to keep Bitcoin and I always use Ledger Wallet because it gives me a sense of security when used and Ledger Wallet has a lot of different security features and it is difficult to they were attacked because they had a very good development team to deal with the whole issue

Just try not to talk everywhere in your city about your bitcoins that's all. But if you are really scared about online hacking just few tips:
1.Never download suspicious stuff
2.Never click on phishing links
3.Don't use same passwords
