This is my first airdrop. But I got nothing but the message: "Blacklisted. We checked your wallet on Monday 14th August, 2017 and found ZERO coin in your wallet."

I am sorry to tell you, but those who registered after 12 July 2017 are not eligible fort the airdrop.

My 2 cents about TOR (The Onion Router) and how it relates to DeepOnion.

DeepOnion wallet doesn't help TOR or the entire TOR Network.
DeepOnion utilizes TOR Network for anonymity by hiding the user's IP in the Internet.

What creates circuit and help the TOR network are TOR nodes.

Now what DeepOnion wallet does by staking is help run the DeepOnion network which is run through the TOR network.

The traffic DeepOnion wallet is generating in the TOR network is helpful for the TOR Network in my opinion!
1. there will be extra connections made and traffic generated within the TOR network
2. Due to this extra traffic other traffic is more difficult to follow
3. More IP's get hit by the exit nodes, making all TOR traffic more difficult to follow for CIA/FSB etc.

It does not help in these situations:
- DeepOnion makes no exit nodes, this is safe for deeponion users, but less good for TOR network
- You can always start a TOR exit node yourself at your Internet connection to help the TOR network.

So does the extra bandwith of DeepOnion slowdown the Tor network, or is it insignificant?

Perhaps it can motivate more people to run a Tor node.

Edit: By node I think I misspoke. I meant, it can make people run whatever give tor extra bandwidth. I really know very little about Tor.

bandwidth usage by DeepOnion is limited, but we are these days with many!

yes, running a TOR exit node will increase the capacity of the network, so if you can encourage people to run such nodes this is very usefull.
Small note, you will be relaying traffic as a TOR exit Node (like Deeponion block updates, but also any other traffic you don't know about) to the internet. Depding on the country you live, this might be a problem or totally not.
