something i don't get it,Onion coin circulating supply should be more than 18 millions,but why it only shows about 3 millions?

I think coinmarketcap only counts "publicly circulating supply". Basically, it's to prevent for example if I release a coin that has 21 million coin, and then only circulate 10 coin, I sell each coin for $100, and someone buys/trades them. Suddenly my marketcap is over 2 Billion USD, that's pretty ridiculous. So coinmarketcap would only consider the marketcap in such scenario to be $1000

We have the one of the most honest devs here.  According to their plan, 70% will be air-dropped to the community, while 20% will be used for bounties, rewards and other promotions.   70% plus 20% or 90% will be given to the public.  So, DeepOnion has one of the biggest airdrops I think.

well then it rise another question,how do coinmarketcap knows 3 millions in circulating?
so far if we total up previous airdrop and bounty ,i guess it's still not more than 2 million...right?

I actually commented about this in another thread about Onion... it was a FUD thread criticizing the distribution method.  My response back was a question about what the preferred method would be?  In my opinion this is the most fair and exciting way to distribute coin.  No matter what happens to Onion, I think the distribution method is a stroke of genius.  If a new coin goes ICO; then mostly whales and deep pockets get the coin, if it's a pure mine then only the heavy hitters with ASIC's get it.  This method of distributing by giving back to the community is really awesome and I count myself fortunate to be a part of the project.  This is my first signature campaign and I'm so lucky I chose this one.

As a side note, I never did get the answer from the FUD spreader on how they'd launch a coin.  LOL
