I'm a moderator at deeponion and i started off as a relative noob, not posting much at all just following crypto from a distance for a number of years after a little dabble about 4 years ago. Now after DeepOnion i earn, depending on the beneficial effect and work i do for DeepOnion, but about 3000 onions a week, but i'm a very active mod.. Now by all means do not participate in this amazing opportunity.

However if you follow me on twitter @ceredigionman you will see that many influential people, two old crypto devs i was helping years ago. Plus many others recently. One of my followers has over 500,000 followers another has over 300,000 and quite a few others slightly lower. So there is even more demonstrable trust with DeepOnion than many other developments of the past and i dare say the future too.

Now there are literally thousands of traders and investors and crypto enthusiasts out there, one actually called cryptoenthusiast, haha, and all are either buying DeepOnions on Nova or who are earning them without being on the airdrops by the contributions given to them for the work they do, making videos and taking apart in the bounties and competitions..... Or from the signature campaign here on bitcointalk.

So with regard to why we are doing it;

We are doing it for a huge amount of airdrop onions and unlike any other signature campaign on bitcointalk we are actually given a huge "salary" each week in real dollar value.

what I understand from dev messages is that DV is not a storage protocol for file itself but is stores file hash, the aim is to validate file.

Yeps if you work hard at it and produce some good constructive posts then you should be considered at some point. Just do it regularly. Also I would recommend you spend a bit more time in the announcement area here, as that is highly valued. That is where they have the best chance of acquiring people to invest, mine or participate in the airdrop.

You may post it here. But it will be also be better if you also post it in the official forum. A step by step tutorial is a very big help for Ubuntu users.

Try checking your email's spam folder. Maybe the confirmation email is there.

I trade a lot and I truly belive tha Coingather or Yobit are NOT good exchanges for this coin and that is 100%. Everyone who doesnt agree doesnt have enogh experience. What we need is: Liquie, Binance, Cryptopia,  Bittrex, Poloniex, maybe some Asia exchange. I truly belive we can suceed in long run and I havent sold any of my Onion AAnd I wont do it till the end. Only if er all truly belive we can suceed. Money is just part of the story, beeing prt of successful story is mich more than that. Many people wont understand me or agree with me, souns like naive but for me that is the only truth. To be honest I wouldnt sell my Onions even if someone pays 10usd today for them. We have had issue with one bad exchange of bitzure.. I dont think we need to push for another exchange unelss we know that the exchange is really good. Has anyone ha some experience with CoinGather?

There it costs only 0.1 BTC to get a new coin added as far as I know.

STOP pushing for YOSHIT.. its the worst exchange on the planet and I still dont understand why people really want any decent coin over there. Half of the time, YOSHIT has wallets down which does not allow you to withdraw your coins and the customer service does not exist

  If you do not run the wallet for two ~ three weeks (30 days maximum) - then in a short time you will receive an even larger number of coins at a time.

Hello mate! I had the same issue. Even after requesting new confirmation mail (about 5 times) still no mail arrived.
I don't know what your registration email address is but it seems that server has some issues sending to less known email providers.
I'd recommend either join slack or change your email address in your DeepOnion account (the second option is much faster).
For 2nd option just change your email address here: https://deeponion.org/community/account/contact-details
I used gmail as contact address and it arrived immediately.
Let us know if it helped you.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I was waiting 2 weeks and nothing arrived.
