I have just found about DeepOnion and read everything about it.
I'm surprised I didn't came across it earlier,since I'm in love with TOR browser and use it all the time.
What I like most about it is a partial PoS algorithm.
It shows you the developers aren't just here to make a quick profit,but to actually contribute to the community.
Looking at other hundreds of ponzi scheme coins just trying to rip you off,this is actually something admirable.
What I'm most excited about in the future is the implementation of the Deepsend technology which will definitely consolidate the success of the project and make it skyrocket.
I immediately recognized the sincerity of the team and the quality of the project ,so I'll be definitely looking to contribute as best as I can for the benefit of us all.

I manually typed it, pressed enter, then used the push test to send a test push to make sure everything was working.

Yes, that is correct.

It is highly advised to make a new backup after each mandatory update, or each time you create a new receiving address. If you want to further bolster the security of your funds, you can also get the private key for your wallet address. That way, even if you lose the wallet.dat you can import the private key using the debug console and still have access to your funds.

It is the same with the private keys though, there will be one key per receiving address.

yes, the back up literally saved my ass when I decided to put the password to wallet. I used team speak for that procedure ( never! repeat! never ever do it it trough team speak!!!).  so I setup the pasw and when tried to access wallet I failed. I tried everything all letters up and down and so on!!   no luck! Team speak must have misspelled something((
so I recovered wallet from back up and setup the pasw directly from PC with a wallet, and it worked like a charm! so this backup really got me out of a trouble, so always use it before you gonna change something, it could save you!

With all the mess outside (e-series and bitcoin forking, etc.), I really like that Onion is now quietly growing. The dev team did such a fantastic job. It seems that they really have a very solid plan in their mind. They know when they should advertise. They know when they should sit down to focus on development. They stick to their principles when there are noise, but they also listen to the voice from community. I guess the support from dev team is one of the most important reasons to win the trust from the community. The dev team, together with the strong community, then become the most important reason for Onion to succeed.

I was unable to vote when was on w8ing to be accepted in group, but later I was able to vote.

Will be very good if more of us suport deeponion on facebook, because for example on 3rd voting pool on facebook only
