No, not as of now. But there are changes in the airdrop rules and will be announced shortly. You should be optimistic about it. Even if the rules does not change anything about rank requirements, you can become a Jr Member very easily. That should not be much of a concern.

I'm a little watching your excellent contribution to the deeponion community, but I do not understand why you are not in the airdrop.
Why you do not participate in deeponion airdrop?

Well, when I discovered Deeponion project I thought that it could be interesting, but I was not eligible to enter the airdrop because my BTCtalk account was too young. I started to be more interested in crypto world at the begining of this year and even started to mine some altcoins with one GTX 1070 that I have bought for that purpose. I was trying to learn as much as possible about everything and was reading this forum but did not bother to register because I was only interested in learning.
I have registered in August (before I have seen DeepOnion) and started to post first at local threads in my language and than in English threads).
As I said, DeepOnion seemed interesting to me but as my account was too young by old rules I read about it but was not active in the community.
When new set of rules was activated I have applied for airdrop because I had all that was required to enter.
My account was refused because it did not meet some requirements. It was suspicious because it was young account with most posts at local forums and no posts in DeepOnion thread.
I have continued to be active as I would have if I was accepted and I am trying to contribute as much as I can and know.
I have made a ticket yesterday for review of my application and I am hoping to be accepted. If not I will still continue to work as if I am accepted and will try again.
There are still many airdrops left and most important thing is that I am having real fun here and feel accepted in the community even if I am not part of the airdrops.
Every day I see a lot of people that are impatient to get in and people that are accepted and think that they do not need to contribute after that.
You can't expect to get something for nothing and you can all see that you can get plenty here.

So my advice is to be patient, contribute as much as you can, every contribution counts. It does not have to be graphic design or making a website, you can make your contributions in many other ways. It is important to believe in this project and spread the news and I am sure that it will be rewarded in the end.

This is a great project with even better community and I will support it for as long as it takes.

That's the spirit that all DO members should have!
Keep up the good work and reward will come!

I doubt that Newbies will be allowed to join. If that happens a lot of people will open fake accounts just to get free ONIONS and dump them the next day. But if you are a genuine person who wants to support DeepOnion community, why dont you be more active and become a Jr Member soon. This tuesday, everyone will get points for their activities from last two weeks.

After the Bitcoingold Fork the BTC price will drop a bit and people will run back into Altcoins - I'm pretty sure. So best thing to do now is to buy some more Onion before the fork! I think we hit the bottom with a price of 0.5 to .6 USD.

Many market annouce support BTG fork and BTG can be traded from 24/10. So at this time many pepple invest to BTC, they ignore Altcoin in order to get BTG with rate 1:1.

I believe that will not change the level of demand, will only delay the registration date
Instead, the standard of the audit will be more stringent, just becoming a JR.member is not enough, you must show more contribution to the deeponion
There should be a lot of people who are added to be rejected because their previous posts are not helpful for deep onions, although the membership level is sufficient

Most of the people complaining about not getting accepted to the airdrop are members who were fresh Jr. members who didn't read the rules
in details and made about 15 posts a week BUT the quality of the posts were pretty bad, the posts had the minimum of 50 characters but it still was low-quality content
(i.e. Wow this is such a nice image, Wow I love the concept of this coins & etc - with some addings to make the post have at least that 50 characters).
They could have been rejected from the airdrop for burst posting - they made like 25 posts in 1 or 2 days without recent activity in that week.

Then there was a Jr. member who made about 40% of his total posts in one week and was accepted to the airdrop. I read his posts - they were high-quality and most of them had at least 5 or 6 rows of text.
It mostly depends on the members themselves so don't hesitate and join us.
