glad to know that the rules have been updated. it is intended to distribute onions for those who have bought it and didnt even get into airdrop. so, more people will receive a number of onions depending on their balance. though, if you're registered into the 2x support group, you can have more airdrop onions.
also, im proud that i also contributed this idea from deeponions before my demotion to active member. glad to know deeponion has improved my idea and implemented it.

Congratulations! now almost everybody can participate in the airdrop owing to the registration date requirement. It has been moved to oct. 1. More power to the devs and DO community 😊

the new rules will give more advantage to early airdrop participants as they have more onions on their accounts, which will give them more shares in the revised airdrop calculations.
the new rules will also give advantage to those who wanted to join airdrop program since it would be easier to join and mods will be less strict when filtering those applicants. the major downside is that new airdrop participants will receive lesser amount of airdrop since their wallets are expected to contain low amount of onions.
the new rules will affect those members who are recently accepted and received just a few airdrop (1x-3x). under old rules, they'll receive same amount of airdrop as those early airdrop participants, considering they have same rank.
overall, the new rules will give more rewards to those early airdrop participants and less advantage to those late participants. the only way to counter this effect is for the late participants to accumulate more onions by buying at exchange.
let the new rules roll on and we'll see the effect of this on deeponion community. it's good to have some rules change from time to time. dev team are working constantly to new rules to experiment with.
there might be some early airdrop members who are still getting away with multiple airdrops. now that with the new rules, they'll be getting even more. i hope that dev team and deeponion security experts will continuously monitor those who have multiple accounts.

I think the new rules will set a new vector for the development of the project. The more people will be involved in deeponion the more spread it will get. It would be nice to make the project necessary in some kind of business and service. It also remains relevant to create a masternode.
Are there plans to add masternodes? never heard of this before... Would be pretty cool! |

I just read he changes in the airdrop, i'm think they are wonrderful for the project, also i think that there will more volume in the exchange because of this
It can swing either ways. Many of the current airdrop participants have enough coins. They would have a lesser incentive to buy. Non-airdrop members will have to put in a lot of investment to get substantial returns from the forthcoming airdrops. This might deter many from buying more DOs. After the initial rush, many will just hold the coins in their wallets. Bottom line: It is still uncertain. |
