If you don't feel comfortable with a desktop wallet you could use a paper wallet, if its only yo hold your coin there's nothing like it.  Just dont let your coins on the exchange...

Buying Onions in Nova is really a pain  when will be the checking of balance for the airdrop? is it thursday? i havent joined yet only manage to buy 1,310 onions from yesterday due to website lagging and upto now i cant load the trading page.

You can create any new address (for example in the local program https://deeponion.org/community/threads/deeponion-monitor-explorer-lokalnaja-programma.885/page-2#post-57422) and save private keys. And then, if necessary, import the keys into a local (or web) wallet.

There have been a number of very good updates this week within the Deeponion community

Personally my favorite one has been the DeepPoints update,

This now allows people who will not be getting a large weekly airdrop to still gather onions by being a part of the community,

If they manage to get 100 onions in a week this way, these onions will then go towards their weight in the official airdrop, which in turn increases their weight further.

This is a great update from the team and should give a real buzz to the forums.

hello, what's being uncomfortable with desktop wallet?  i'm also uncomfortable with these desktop wallet before, but after doing some, it's not really hard to maintain one desktop wallet.  another plus for maintaining deeponion desktop wallet, if you put it online 24/7, is you gain some coins from staking.  so far, i havn't seen online web wallet that features staking.
