What is the listing requirement for ShapeShift.io
It is definitely a good option to have more exposure of using DeepOnion

Shapeshift is a bit trickier than most exchanges as it's a market maker and not a matching platform. Matching platforms facilitates exchanges of assets between customers by matching customers' buy and sell orders. Market makers on the other hand buy/sell assets directly from/to customers. To do so, market makers has to keep large volumes of each and every asset traded. Moreover, they have to come up with ways to determine and periodically adjust financial quotes for each and every asset traded in the way that allows them to remain competitive and profitable at the same time. So for Shapeshift, listing a new coin entails (a) buying up a large amount of that coin for liquidity purposes (b) coming up with a algorithm to determine the quotes for that coin. This is much more complicated process than listing a coin on typical matching platform such as Bittrex or Cryptopia.

But to answer your specific question Shapeshift doesn't have a formal process for adding a new coin, but you can suggest them an addition: https://shapeshift.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001620290-I-want-a-coin-added-to-ShapeShift.

So we will see if they come back based on your request. Even though Shapeshift is not a classical exchange with orderbook, it would be a nice alternative place to trade Onions as it has several advantages. It is very simple to use, especially in combination with some wallet such as Coinomi which has Shapeshift directly integrated inside. You just chose which coins to exchange and the amount and that´s it. Would be a great feature of some of our future wallet versions to integrate Shapeshift (or to introduce our own similar service).

You are also not limited by the trading combinations allowed by the exchange, you can trade much more "exotic" combinations, the only condition is that Shapeshift supports them. And another nice thing about Shapeshift is the anonymity, there is no registration process at all. But of course, there are some trading limits.

There will be one distribution day (24 hrs) per week for airdrop. During that time you should not move your coins. Any account found moving away coins will be disqualified for the airdrop. Account where the balance increases during the day are OK, but the earliest detected amount (thus the smallest amount) will be used as the base for distribution.
