I'm interested to join this Airdrop for first time. Going through their airdrop rules: "Distribution will be based on the ONIONs you have in your account, you must have at least 100 ONIONs to qualify."
What does it mean? Do I need to have 100 coins in my address to join Airdrop? So they want us to buy these coins from market to participate in Airdrop? Doesn't make sense to me.

It makes sense with some background information. Earlier the airdrop was strictly based on the rank on this forum and contributions here and on Deep Onion Forum. That lead to some people using farmed accounts to get an undeservingly huge share of the airdrop. To prevent this fraud a new set of rules were formulated, and minimum requirement of 100 Deep Onions was enforced.

In order to qualify, you must be a member of asktom.cf, at least at Jr Member level, registered before October 1, 2017. You must wear DeepOnion signature during the course of all airdrops.
