I'm just join DeepOnion airdrop , may I ask some question ? I'm Full Member and just have 250 Onion , airdrop rules change at round 19 ( i forgot which round ) , I think I just can receive 15 onion per week ( new rules ) , but we can receive hundred of onion with old rules ...
Old Airdrop Rules: All participant member maybe receive same amount of onion , at least a few hundred onion each round
New Airdrop Rules: more onion your hold , you will get more onion each round , participant receive different amount of onion ( new participant just receive a few onion each round , old participant receive big amount of onion each round even just a jr member rank ) ...
I'm confused and suggestion , why airdrop not based on our bitcointalk member rank and I think old rules is better ...
Please correct me if I'm wrong ...

the quickest way to have 100 onions is to buy from exchanges. however, this is not obligatory. there's an slower way to have 100 onions - go to deeponion.org forum, there are alot of giveaways, bounties, contests for those newbies who have less than 100 onions. |

Yes and No! Yes you should have at least 100 Onions for being part of the airdrop (main airdrop on Fridays). No, you can contribute to the Deep Onion forum (deeponion.org/community/) and your weekly activity will be used to award you some Onions every Sunday (which is the secondary airdrop). This airdrop does not require minimum balance in your wallet. |

The old rules resulted in some members gaming the airdrop to get a large number of Onions for free. So the rules were changed. The new rules are not perfect, but that is the solution to prevent scammers from profiting from the airdrop. |

if you joined airdrop early on, the revised rule will favor you since you'll be having >10k coins balance. i also found myself on the short end with this revised rules. i think the devs team modified the airdrop computation is because there were lots of cheaters who claimed alot more onions from airdrop compared to other honest participants. also, the revised rules encourages members to buy and hold more onions to push the price of onions up. this rule change seems to have positive impact on onion price at it goes from 0.5usd to almost 3usd currently. we can't complain about the airdrop since it's the devs call. we can only embrace the new rules and play with it. how? - just buy more onions! |

I finally applied for the Main Airdrop but I am still 7 onions short of 100. I want to buy but the price is really high today which is a good thing and a bad thing for me. I guess I need to wait till next week so I can finally join.
Mate go to official forum, there are lot's of giveaways. My friend does giveaways everyday. So you can collect them till Fridays airdrop  Also check the Deep Domination tasks if you're already eligible to post there. You'll get Deeppoints which will transalte to Onions every Sunday. Another way are the bounties. It would be a shame missing the AirDrop due to 7 onions, regardless of the price - Today it would cost you about $20, but you'll not only have those onions, but also the ones you'll gain via the airdrop - balanced out, you would really only be paying half the cost (roughly). Plus you would start staking right away. Either way, see you in the AirDrop shortly. You are right, it would really be a shame. I think I'll just buy the 7 onions regardless of the price and if I'll get at least 5 this Friday, then that would only amount to just 2 onions. I am already active in the forum but not that much luck on the Giveaways. |

You mean only 100 onions right? You don't have to buy anything if you don't want. Simply do some bounties or join the DeepPoints airdrop. I got 190 $Onions last week from DeepPoints airdrop alone. That is valued at over $600 for a week of being active in forums. |

I'm here from the first airdrop and I'm very pleased with the coin.
Deeponion has huge potential and slowly people began to be aware of it.

DeepOnion is clearly dominating. It is a very strong cryptocurrency. FUDs since its birth cannot kill it. Many others envy how DeepOnion is doing now for they cannot do it. Why?
