the wallet suddenly stopped accepting outgoing transfers... I wanted to import my address into another wallet, but my old wallet could not dump the private key for the address that I used to receive all those onions.
So.. what happened along the way is a mistery.. but my idea about the wallet was that this kind of things should not happen.. that's why I got frustrated about it.
The one thing that caused losing this coins was being impossible to dump the key.. and when i started my crypto adventure.. the DO-wallet was the first wallet I ever installed... and I was too new to know about dumping private keys.. I made that one rookie mistake and payed for it (
and in my quest in getting as much info about that wallet from the DEV team, I got more frustrated because the info I need to find more info about it is not given
I need to know which fork was used for creating the DO-wallet... this would guide me in a good direction in finding the cure, which might help people in the future if they encounter the same problem.
Within my quest to find the solution I came accross several different coin wallets that have this issue.. so it's certainly a version of qt-wallet that has this flaw in it

Usually an announcement like that has caused a price rise, the whitepaper is a big deal so I'd expect 15-20% rise after its revealed

I.think that there is a versión for linux with the new features, not deepvault, but other features are implememted. check the forum. As far as i know, developers will release the code, so you will be able.to compile it.

After the Deeponion get into the chinese market, it has been broadcast very fast inside the chinese community, and a lot of guys has been sold other crypto and bought the deeponion.
I could image if onion join the bianco exchange in the begining of 2018, then it might be sooner double current price as well.

webwakko if I was in your situation I would stop using the hard drive immediately and try to run un-delete software. I know you didn't delete the wallet, but who knows. Good that you made peace with the loss, learn from the mistake.

And about what you said about the domination tasks. It's hard to predict how things will turn out when planning them. And what I love about the DO team is how flexible they are when it comes to fixing things that they didn't foresee. They continuously adjust. From dealing with sockpuppets, to putting a stop to things that led to spam accusation.

You can't judge on how the unforeseen came out, you judge on the response.

This community is relatively young compare to other coin communities here in bitcointalk. But I really feel the warmth in this thread. And this year has been a blast for me. 2017 has been a really great year for me in crypto and a big part of that is because of DeepOnion. DeepOnion is my very first airdrop and I am very thankful and blessed to this community and to the devs and the DeepOnion team that made this possible. Not really. I think if you are active you could earn around 30 onions per week maybe even less since more and more people are joining, but that was before they changed some things with deep domination tasks this week. I was away with holidays and today when I did a deep domination task it didn't give me any points so something is changed and I noticed a while back about deep domination vip, but last week I was still receiving deep points for doing normal deep domination tasks.

I need to research and see what the changes are and how this affects the way we can now earn deep points.

On another note, I really like the way things are developing and that we should have the whitepaper very soon. Great things are coming up for Deep Onion and I'm here to enjoy them with the community.

On the contrary, it is.  There are onion giveaways, bounties, and contests you can join that can help you earn 100 onions in a week.  We also have the VIP domination tasks which you can join to earn onions.  If you are good in making articles for deeponion, that will also do.  The possibilities are endless, just be creative

Previously this was very possible, however lately i'm not sure.  The Devs are constantly having to change the rewards system b/c some users keep coming up with ways to try to cheap the system

Yes you can , while your wallet you have a lots of  deeponion  you can earn more and more deeponion from airdrop.

If you have more posts on deeponion official forum you can earn deep point and  1 deeppoint = 2500 deeponion .
