I think the price drop is just normal market fluctuation and is healthy to sustain the upward movement of Onion.
If it continuously rices, it will overheat, stall and fall sharply.

Looks like some big whale doing pump and dump games, so I am not worrying at all.

Exactly my thoughts. The sudden rise in the value of DeepOnion was quite alarming and I felt happy and scared at the same time since nothing about this was normal in any aspect. I expected DeepOnion to reach a new ATH sometime in January 2018 and it reached it in the last week of December 2017 which was captivating, but I never expected it to continue rising without any sort of correction whatsoever.

In this case, a correction was required and I feel like it will continue to correct itself and will stabilize somewhere in the 3-5$ range in the near future. I don't think it will fall even further. Rest easy people since this correction is very healthy for DeepOnion in the long term.

Well i bought some more onions at the dump, sent them to my wallet like 10 hours ago from Cryptopia. Woke up this morning to notice it still didn't arrive, so went on to check on Cryptopia and they're under maintenance...
I noticed the exchange was extremely laggish yesterday when i did the trade.
Anyway, will wait for them to come back...

No, now you just should be a Jr. Member or up to be qualified for main airdrop.  Also, you need minimum 100 Onions as was the case previously.  There is no more prerequisite of registration date.  You need minimum 3 bitcointalk posts with minimum 50 characters and 2 official DeepOnion forum posts weekly now.  Previously, it was 5 bitcointalk posts and 3 official DeepOnion forum posts weekly.
