It's hard to see Waves replacing ETH on it's place. I have seen it became popular last year but now it's not being talked. Ethereum is one of the best alt coins to invest and the smart contracts on it is something that is really effective to market out the alt coins industry. We don't have to compare these two or think it will replace any of them as long as they are profitable, no need to compare. Totally agree. Etherium can't be replaced. It becomes only stronger and stronger every month. Just like what we are saying about bitcoin vs. ETH or bitcoin vs. bitcoin cash, these type of comparison's are useless. We can see on how popular ETH is today and there's a lot of upcoming projects and it is the most preferred contract of a company that wants to launch crowdfunding. I saw some Waves platform project too but they are very few and not all of them are on hype. |

Both of them are really best networks. Ethereum has smart contracts and waves has NG feature.
NG feature is more important for me as i am using crypto for transactions.

Waves can't really be compared to Ethereum. The good thing about Waves is that it offers a nice way to create these kind of tokens because it incorporates an interface to do all these various stuff instead of having to write the code yourself, but this all comes with some drawbacks, such as limited customization from the part of the platform. Ethereum from the other hand offers an end to end way to create your own token and your own ecosystem which is customizable based on your specific desires, instead of following the way that Waves wants you to do. This is the reason why so many projects are choosing Ethereum over Waves as well, it just offers much more customization and that's attractive for any serious intended project.

I tend to agree, Waves has great community support but have yet to see any meaningful development recently. On the other end Ethereum has the greatest developer community out there. It is hard to match. |

There is no solid basis to compare in Waves and Etherium, the team of Waves is doing a very good creative work, which leads to Wave's development, but Waves has to travel a lot in order to get around the Etherium now. It is the fact that Etherium has made a good location in the crypto market, it has been running second in the market for a long time. Atiram has the largest developer community. So there is no possibility in Waves to become a competitor of Ethereum in near future.

Ethereum still win until today, we see the Market Cap and compare it. Yeah, maybe waves have good progress, but Ethereum as luxury as always. Stable in market and have big community behind it.

Now wrong, waves can't take ether's place in short term. They're far behind of ethereum. But, this doesn't mean they can never catch ethereum, maybe they can attract some whales and this would make waves very valuable in the future. |

Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"
Those altcoins are both coins that I hold in a long term actually, I do believed on this two blockchain they have have both big community also in this industry also. No doubt that by next year their price value will jump up to the moon for sure. |

Waves are updating dex system and they have very promising tokens coming. I, normally, support ETH more than any alts, but I think Waves may be more valuable in the near future.

in my opinion the people have more trust with the ETH coin after btc then in any coin , so may be it can take the whole year to overtake the ETH coin and became a best and good coin in the market by the wave coin .
Well here we need better better coins where we can make big deals with our money to make money in trading .
