https://pool.viabtc.com/Now we are sure that ViaBTC is misreporting the information. According to them, still, after the block mine, half of the entire Bitcoin world is mining BCC.    There seems to be one reason for that: There is a sub-community who considers ViaBTC authorative, who is relying on ViaBTC for information. I am so sorry for that community. I'm even sorrier that we have to be the recipients of all this anti-effort at the behest of untruth. I just about cannot stand it. Just about...  This is what is called "evil". Hmm I'm not sure and I didn't do much diligence myself but from what I've heard and read that BCC thing is the "last try" of the Antminer producers to save their advantage in SHA256 mining by using the "Asicboost technology". Asicboost isn't compatible with segwit and they'd lose their advantage and would need to miner like every other sha256 asic if the network switches to segwit blocks. However - the way that bitcoin abc (BCC) handles it - IS Asicboost compatible.. Now if I'd had a farm (in china) with several Petahashes and thousands of miners / racks - I'd at least understand why I'd try to save my 25% speedup against other miners.. My company is 25% more profitable as long as I can mine "empty" blocks where only 1 TX is incuded - the TX which pays the block to the miner (myself).. AFAIK (not sure) ViaBTC / Roger Ver is somehow connected to Antminer etc... Hey, How'd you answer before I posted?  Like any of that is secret. Thanks for the insight OC! |

I already sold my coins yesterday on yobit at more high price as compare with bittrex. I think now a lot of people would like to sell this coin because it's like airdrop and time to get free money. I have dumped it in both sites, once yoshit credited their IOU I dumped it, then I bougth ETH, transfer it to bittrex and wait for today's snapshot, I have to thank uncle Roger for the free bucks, I even keep 0.2 BCH, just in case |

How it happened is I wrote it, Then deleted it b/c I saw that another block had been mined. Then I remembered their special "Difficulty Adjustment" and their ASICboost-ing advantage. Are the wallets listed on bitcoincash.org safe?
I downloaded BitcoinABC client but I am not sure if I should import my Bitcoin (BTC) keys in order to get BitcoinCash.
Did anyone try it already?
Also, what is the right abbreviation of BitcoinCash, BCH or BCC?

Guys, help pls. How do i aquire my BCC now ? I did this:
1. Copied my private key of main btc wallet.
2. Downloaded Electrum Cash wallet
3. Waited for fork to happen, then transfered all my btc to safe address.
4. Tried import private key from step 1 into Electurm Cash but failed "No input found"
5. Then i tried entering seed of main btc wallet into Electrum Cash and got into wallet, but balance after my transfer at step 3 is zero bcc.
?!??!?
1. Your client sends private keys to server. 2. You wait 3. You send money 4. You cash out bcc 5. Now you see your real btc is gone via step 1. You just did what no user should ever do. Enter private key into third party client. Read more carefully what i wrote, bro. You misunderstood me. I entered a private key of an empty wallet(after sending my btc's to safe address) into a third party client. I do have access to my btc's with new unknown to a third party address. I just didnt get my bcc's .. odd... you did exactly what I did and I got my BCC ... I'm guessing you transferred them before the blockchain snapshot occurred, try doing it again with your new private key... I use electrum, just sent all my coins to poloniex for "safety" ... then opened electrum cash ... didn't even need to enter my private key, it pulled my walled straight from the BTC electrum wallet, and my BCC was automatically there while my BTC was safely on poloniex |
