243 pages on ico? This is what I call Hype:) Lets see how it goes!

All this activity has also to do with the ICO being postponed to November. Now everyone is wishfully waiting for ICO to start and meanwhile keeps the hype up here in this thread.

There is so much activity in the uTrust thread, my bitcointalk keeps freezing. Seems to happen when i visit this thread the most, you guys have similar issues?

Actually, it is not because of utrust or only on the utrust thread. The whole website having some server issues I guess. Lots of errors and refreshes for me.
It's because of upcoming bitcoin fork. Many people want to check the latest info about it. Should be normalized in 5 days.

I read on the website of Utrust that they dont accept fiat currency if you want to participate in the ICO. Maybe this is a stupid question, but why do they only accept ETH and BTC? I mean if Utrust wants to be the future of online payment, should they not accept also fiat currency?

Im agree. It will be better to accept fiat as payment as well. It give us fix profit in usd...

Maybe if there are a big demand to use fiat, utrust will consider it as I see at other projects. Btw, having many choices would be better.

just wait until the tokens go moon after the ico.... thats what i will call hype then

Do you have a crystal ball Grin? Joking apart, in my humble opinion, it will moon when first merchant will add Utrust's API, I see no reason to moon before, until first use case it's going to be a speculative token and nothng else

We should better be happy that they also offer to participate with BTC. A lot of ICOs only accept ETH.

That's right, and after all, UTRUST is a payment platform focused on cryptocurrencies  Smiley

Mmmm, this is not a mainstream public auction or something, normal people who are not in the community won't be investing in utrust, so if there are some people that would like to use fiat, the amount will be so small that it won't be worth the resources that will be spent in it, besides it would be expensive to do so, they will have to use a fiat service like paypal, u others to accept the fiat money, it is cheaper and easier to use cryptos in general.

I also think ETH and BTC is enough for this ICO.
Why use other? These are the most famous one and easiest to get. Dont think they will do fiat, to complex.

Cant wait to see this ICO go.
Great work you guys are doing!

Now a lot of projects are stalling from the start (Look at the Request and AirSwap), I do not know with what it may be connected, perhaps with a hardfork bitcoin. I hope the Utrust will not be one of them.

This is just not a great time for an ICO to start or a pre-sale.
Wait until November and everything will be back to normal! Glad UTRUST will wait until everything around the forks are done. Then this ICO will go great.

It will take some time before this will go moon Smiley, just hold until the end of next year! Thats my plan Wink

There is probably a legal reason for that, ie. to prevent the tokens from becoming securities. If tokens are securities you enter regulation hell.

Companies mostly use cryptocurrencies out of an abundance of caution. When you’re using fiat currency, you start touching the margins of banking and money transmitter regulations, and using cryptocurrencies keeps you clear of them. It’s also the case that a lot of your audience – right now, at least – is part of the cryptocurrency world anyway. These are people who have [digital] wallets. It’s not hard for them.

According to the Howey test, an instrument is only a security if it involves an investment of money or other tangible or definable consideration used in a common enterprise with a reasonable expectation of profits to be derived primarily from the entrepreneurial or managerial efforts of others.

If they do, then those transactions are considered securities and are subject to certain disclosure and registration requirements. When tokens are structured basically as the sale of a service or product, they’re designed to make sure the various prongs of the test are not triggered.

I see many ICO's tokens these days going down because the whole alt market is going down. I believe that if you invest in an ICO because you trust it, there's no reason to sell your tokens at loss after few weeks though.

Hello!
What news about the project?
How do you think they will collect the maximum for the ICO, and how much will it last?
Judging by the information this platform will be in demand, the question is how soon?
And so, in general, the whole idea is very good! I like, I hope they reach their goal in a short time!
I wish everyone good luck and a good evening!

Hello!
Many thanks for the answers, I've read a lot of useful things in the branch about the project, I hope ICO will start on time and will be successful for the project, as so many people are interested in this platform.
Judging by the description, they will reach huge heights! So we wait and hope for the best!
Good luck, guys!

I agree with you that it do not need to sell tokens at a loss at the first fall. But still I like to watch how my deposit grows and does not fall day by day  Cheesy I hope the second half of November will be an excellent time for growth ..

Ico start the 2nd November, it’s very soon. Be ready just to be sure you will have your chance to invest in Utrust, cause with the support of the community and with so much people who want to invest in the project I prefer to be ready right in time to be sure !
