Lurking a few highrollers on Primedice I was asking myself: why is a 0.001 BTC bet considered to be under the HR requirement?
I guess it is the sign of time passing: 5/6 years ago one would have considered a 100 or 1000 btc bet like high rolls.

Anything below $1000 is not High rolling for me. High rolls need to be high by definition: I understand that we are speculating about personal evaluation, since for me $50 is not HR while for someone else it is. Personally speaking, I would not like to see my 0.001 bets on the high roll board, but I guess that is just me.

This isn't surprising since they launched way back during the early days of cryptocurrencies. This topic itself was created in 2013 which means that 8 years have passed since then and Primedice has established itself as a consistent performer.

This could be the oldest gambling site thread in this forum. Their forum remains popular too in the crypto gambling world.

No, it is not just you. A high roll for me would be anything above 1K or even higher. Anything else below that is just not a high roll. I get that this depends from people to people but the pure definition is HIGH...

Smiling while reading your post   , as it's happening to some gamblers, thinking that after hitting good odds then switch to the otherside,

I like the idea of adding it out with the enjoyment that you are gaining while playing, both sides are in win win places, you as gambler you fulfil your desire being entertained, while with the house side, they'll  able to keep the gamblers to continue playing.

Yeah, inventing challenges for myself to be more entertained while playing dice, that's what I do. I can't access the PD Forum since quite some time cos it's not mirrored and I don't use VPN, so now I'm passing their great challenges and races I used to participate. Maybe I'll figure it out later cos I really miss the forum, to tell the truth.

I know what you mean. I did not wanted to sound harsh or naive there because the definition of high really varies here. For some people, and there are many here on the forum, even $100 can be life changing. Those who are fortunate enough to not even consider that amount should really need to think closely about it.

If I am not wrong this was the first actual organized cryptocurrency dice site which allowed to bet with Bitcoin but the first bet made with bitcoin was at 2011. Primedice almost nearing their decade anniversary hope they will continue to work even if the prices are keep increasing.

I don't argue with your statement, it's not adding or decreasing anything. If the player/gambler feels like he needed to change
the seed, it's he's right to do so, If he believes that the chance may change or if luck permits him after changing the seeds then so be it
Gamblers always looking for new knowledge, they are aiming to win and establishing system that they can use each time they gamble.

True. Take me, for example. Knowing well that it has nothing to do with reality, I feel like I should hit below 1.00 after hitting above 98.99, so I change sides right away, and sometimes it works for me,  but it's not like a knowledge that I can use to be winning more playing dice. Rather, it's adding more fun to the game, that's all.

I am surprised someone else thinks just like me, when I get a roll above 90 and I am hunting a 10x multiplier then I change from over to under because I have a feeling that under 10 has better chances now given I already have hit above 90 once. To a certain extent that works though because if I make a list, I am sure once I hit 90+, there are more often I hit under 10 than again hitting over 90.

Maybe it has something to do with how primedice looks because there is a line and numbers appear from left to right based on what number appears and once the bar moves towards the extreme right side, I feel like it will come towards the left now.
