Many argue that it must be removed as it lowers the quality of the chat and community as well.
What are the thoughts of everyone and if faucet is removed what should levels be used for?
How does having a faucet lower the quality of chat? Anyone who is claiming that is only jumping to conclusion.
If anything I think it makes chat BETTER quality. Imagine all the beggars if there was no faucet...
Why can't you just let people pick a category with their support emails and filter them that way and if it's about the faucet have a generic response like "sorry we don't respond to emails about faucet amounts, for information about the faucet please click here (insert faucet information/faq)"
I don't know what the heck the emails could possibly contain where they require responses but yet are causing issues so I can't really be of much help in what it would say but there has to be a way to solve that issue without needing to remove the faucet....
Let me tell you how I got into primedice... My friend got me playing on 999dice which has a faucet of 200 satoshi.
I started liking dice and decided to look around at other dice sites; which is when I found primedice.
A faucet of 500 and it increases as I wager? Better than 999dice so I started playing on primedice instead.
Baught a few dollars worth of btc and had some fun so I kept buying and I have now deposited and lost a few hundred dollars on primedice.
I know I'm not a high roller but I do believe the faucet is a great way to convert people into loyal members and to hook brand new players.
When you do something better than the competition you win in the long run. Primedice is #1 because people love how it works and the removal of the faucet is the single most fundamental fuck up you could possibly make.
Even if the conversion rate is small and comes with some beggars, you are gaining legit players as well and their value far outweighs ANY and ALL negatives that anyone has pointed out (many of which will not be solved by removing the faucet anyways)
Until this forum post appeared I thought faucet was a permanent thing (nowhere does it even hint that its not permanent) and if it got removed I would feel kinda screwed over, honestly in a way scammed because I thought thats how primedice.com works so thats why I chose to play there.... at least by losing money every day my faucet was going up for when I would one day need to use it again (my goal is 10k faucet and its fun to work towards)
Although I have no problem with brainstorming new ideas and I'd be all for a better suggestion, I really don't think there is one.
Faucet is good for when you bust or don't want to deposit because you just lost 5 deposits in a row and don't want to make it 6.
The primedice formula works. =) Don't change it.
Please don't let beggars and people flooding support email ruin something that is working to get new players hooked (customers) and is the sole reason primedice is doing well (and would continue to do so) to begin with.
