After attack of double spending usually it takes weeks to recover. Here I am referring at exchanges specially Bittrex which disabled wallet. There is nothing to worry regarding coins but only thing you can't access the coin to do trading with them in all this period. What was to loose has gone from its value already now don't need to panic.

I agree that the price of the coin will increase even more. BTG is not just another shitcoin, after all, it is followed by a large company and an interested team. If he abandons his project, the reputation losses will be irreplaceable. Now it is difficult for everyone, but those projects that will survive will form the crypto economic landscape of the future.

Why you so upset? You regret you lose the value of your investitions in the project? But this don't mean that project is a scam. BTG is recognized by many exchanges and hardwallet manufacturers and it successfully underwent 51 attack. Last but not least, it was given for free, nobody forced anybody to buy it. I dont understand how free money can be a SCAM.

I have a lot of proofs about their scams: from mybtgwallet scam to dumping coins from XAPO. Event 51% attack was performed by BTG developers to get extra funding since team funds burnrate is extreme - about 500k USD per month. Good luck, keep your mouth shut. I see that you are just a paid shill.

The network upgrade has made no difference for me as far as wallet syncing, it is still so unbelievable slow that my wallet only syncs 1 day of blockchain / day, if that.  After a year, albeit I don't have the wallet runnning a lot of the time, I still have over a year worth of blockchain to sync since BTG launched.

I guess the good news is, I haven't sold any since I haven't been able to sync yet to spend it lol

With 5 connections it shows my estimated progress at 0.02% / hour currently.

Just read about the project from the beginning. Then read users ' messages from the community with different services, resources. That's when you will be able to make the right conclusion.

Maybe the issue is with active nodes?  I notice one minute I'll have 5 active nodes, then 10 active nodes, then few moments later it will drop to 2 active nodes, and there just doesn't seem to be any stability with nodes, they seem to be constantly up and down?

Not sure whats going on here.  I have a full active node list in my .conf file but it seems like the active nodes keep getting banned and then I'm left with....
