there are rules for the COINSWAP? Or must only hold in myetherwallet and become new tokens?
i think keeping them in mew will be enough, you just need to move them out of exchanges, they will be seen on snapshot yes i think so too if you just leave them on my ether wallet you should be safe to recieve the new tokens |

i think keeping them in mew will be enough, you just need to move them out of exchanges, they will be seen on snapshot yes i think so too if you just leave them on my ether wallet you should be safe to recieve the new tokens Actually, if you read this you'll see that it's not enough just to keep HAT tokens in MyEtherWallet. Everyone will have to send old HAT tokens to the new contract address in order to receive new tokens. It will cost a little gas, but in that way the dev team will assure that old HAT tokens are remove from the circulation and that everyone have time to do the swap (swap function will be available during the whole month of January 2018). |

No, dev will publish adress of their smart contract. You will have to send your HATs there manually. And you'll get new minable HAT's instead. |

This happened in a wave to ERC20 coin exchange. Well, I guess I can look at the smart contract and see if that's gonna happen automatically. |

This happened in a wave to ERC20 coin exchange. Well, I guess I can look at the smart contract and see if that's gonna happen automatically. The news on twitter says that it is good enough to have tokens in the mew and add the new token in the wallet. Not neccessary to send them anywhere. |

Hi Chris, that information is no longer enough, as we have been updating on our website blog and telegram, the coinswap will be manual, meaning each user will have to send their HAT tokens to the address we will provide and receive new HAT tokens. The devs are working on a guide and video so I am sure it will be "swift and painless" I think that everyone that's investing in crypto currencies should be able to do the swap. All that a user have to do is to send old tokens to the contract address in order to get the same amount of the new HAT tokens in return. If someone doesn't know how to to that, he/she shouldn't be investing in crypto currencies. |
