I bought some HAT tokens on 1/1 from etherdelta. I am not sure if these are the old or new coins. I sent them to the address for the swap about 4 hours ago because that is what I read i was supposed to do. I haven't received anything in my account. How long does it usually take to send the tokens back? Did I already have the new tokens? If I sent the new tokens to the address do they just send them back?

You may wanna check out some YouTube videos on creating Ethereum wallet. HAT is an Erc20 token (based on the Ethereum blockchain) so you can keep it in the Ethereum wallet. After you created the wallet and purchased some HAT tokens on IDEX exchange (don't use EtherDelta because it still has only the old token listed), you can download Hawala wallet from the official web site and start staking. |

Maybe your GAS price was too low. I got the coin swap in 20 minutes. I followed video instructions and the transaction was sent in a few minutes but new token is 0 after added in MEW. I set GAS to 30 Gwei. Is it too low? |

Maybe your GAS price was too low. I got the coin swap in 20 minutes. I followed video instructions and the transaction was sent in a few minutes but new token is 0 after added in MEW. I set GAS to 30 Gwei. Is it too low? You can always check Tx hash that you got when you sent the old HAT tokens. If that transaction has gone trough, you'll get new tokens. Or you can send Tx hash to some of the admin in the Telegram chat and they will tell you if you did everything like you were suppose to. |

It doesn't matter when you add custom token to MyEtherWallet, but until you do that you won't be able to see the balance of the new tokens in MEW. However, you can always check your address in etherscan.io |

Hello, In MEW, when I try to send old HAT tokens to 0xc3972ac283b3a7a56125674631a5c254f7f373cf, I've got this error message : error_36) Input address is not checksummed. What does that mean? Can i use the same contract with uppercases like the one that appears on ethplorer for example: 0xc3972Ac283B3a7A56125674631a5C254f7f373CF Another thing, by default the gas limit is fixed to 36851, it's ok or not? Thanks in advance and sorry for these questions but I do not usually use MEW  |
