My password was so damn secure no one could hack it in these weeks this account was created. I bet they hack was from their side.

I really do not agree that this is a scam. I am only being worried at the rate ICOs on lending programs are released these days. I am a bit worried about the total supply of the coin. The website is not accessible.
Let us still give the dev benefit og the doubt.

The dev doesn't deserve the benefit of doubt as this project has so many red flag. Only 3 of them for now, but more can be found if needed.

It is an ERC20 token therefore not mineable. He still claim a PoW/PoS project. What would you mine if you don't have a blockchain?

Those articles have nothing tangible in them... just fud... bitpetite had no coin only poinless story how they launder money for criminals... so please don’t ever compare the two.. the dev team of bitconnect hold few millions of their coins which price rose 1200x since ico.. if they made money no other way this still gives them nore than enough to pay some small interest rates...

Check your transfer history first to make sure your BTC wasn't withdrawn. If you did log into "ethconnect.com", ethconnect.live, or installed the fake ethconnect app on your phone, then your btc is probably gone. I don't think ethconnect has a support line right now, the best you can do is to click on the chat box on the bottom right corner on the ethconnect website, and drop them a line. Good luck!

This is what i am facing for more than 24 hours. Is anyone know why this is happening and know the solution. Or anyone else having this problem too, i tried too many ways. Only option left is opening a new account and trying another deposit to see if this problem only belong to my account. But i am scared to lose that amount too. What do you guys suggest.

I found this by taking a simple look through their site's source and then searching for any other sites running with the same Google Analytics tracking code (there's is UA-108452084-1), generally a sure sign that it is run by the same people. From this you can find their Bitconium (note funny con in the name) site. If that isn't enough a quick look through the site and you'll find the design, roadmap whitepaper etc has some striking similarities to Ethconnect's site.

On this Twitter (https://twitter.com/bitconium) you'll also see that they have had pretty regular updates which is kinda frustrating for anybody whom wants to know what's happening with the withdrawals. Obviously they are active but just ignoring people.

As I said take from this what you like but hopefully this might give people some food for thought before investing more or (even worse) investing in this new ICO before anything comes of the current one.
