Here's a chart of the JD profits over the last 3 months or so:



April is over 1500, May is under 1000, and June so far is around 1200.  So your numbers look about right to me, yes.

I think you should use the same time and date each month.  If you start the month at 00:01 on 1st June, you should end it at 00:01 on 1st July (not 23:59 on 30th June) or you have a gap between months.

It probably doesn't matter, but it's best to define these things exactly.  For instance, say you'll take the 1st June data point on bitcoinproject from the 1st July data point to get the monthly profit.

13 days is still sufficient time for some whale to try and fight the bankroll and change that outcome and make the bankroll cry lol.
That said to me it looks like it is a done deal but the contract says in the month of June though so it likely needs to run till the end.

I like the idea; why not a 5-6 different give aways :
-First user to win 1% bet
-First 10 real money bets of 0.1 or more after the birthday timestamp get 0.2BTC bonus
ect.

We've tried these kinds of "milestone" things before, and they never work out too well.  You get a quick bust of activity, causing lots of lag, and then it's back to normal.

Also you have to be careful designing them.  If you say "first bet to win at 10%" it'll be someone betting 0 BTC.  If you say "get your stake refunded", everyone bets at 98.99%.  Etc.  People are very smart at working out how best to benefit from incentives.[/quote]

As I understood it, the bet was on the total profit over the whole month.  If someone wins 3k BTC tomorrow, that changes the result of the bet completely.

It's currently looking like the site will book decent profits this month, but it's by no means certain.

When you can legally invest in the house, it is better to be on this side than the other; you have to invest then forget about it for months then look if you made a profit and you probably will have make one (or the site owner will have left with your coins, ED style)
