Ripple is good for the long term. It used to be pumped at the slightest news and became more stable. There are working products and partnerships, it has the potential to grow in the long term.

All coins that are doing well today are those with low market circulation.
In case of the XRP there are 38 billion tokens even though they have a good product. You can invest your profits from alt coins in to XRP but not your hard earned capital.
That was just my thought.

Non-term investment You are buying some tokens issued by a private entity, You know at least IOTA has some thing in common with a real crypto, Even though it had an ICO distribution phase but at least they sold them in an ICO. With ripple you are not buying from ICO, You are not mining, You are buying from a company, They are selling you tokens.

XRP is a strong coin, and this company has a good product that is in demand in many areas, in particular banking. I think it has great potential in the long run.

I'm thinking of acquiring some ripple but i need to know if it's a short term investment or long term. Coz i have been following the market trend and I've not seen a steady increase for the past few weeks. So, is it for long term or short term? Coz to me it seems the coin has some potential.
Ripple is a banking sector coins , and I think about 11+ countries banks are using it for the transaction of money from one country to another ( but in bank to bank only ) . And according to my opinion of the coins which belongs to the banking sector fields. Are better for the investment , But in actual we can't expect in the increase in the price suddenly , So here if we have investment in such types of the coins then we will needed to wait for long term to increase in the price of such coins . Well here I have investment in such coins since 1 year and waiting for big profit ( since I am in the profit by 5-6% which is not a decent amount for me ) .

I agree this is a long term investment. If bank adoption continues this could be quite disruptive to the current banking system. The current Swift system is outdated and inefficient.

Ripple is long term for the only reason is being good for the banking industry. If banking can get behind it, it's a winner for sure!

Ripple is a long term investment. We can expect a few small boosts as more banks join in.

Ripple seems quiet in the cryptoworld, but is stable. I think it's ready for another pump when all this Bitcoin drama ends. It's definitely a long term investment for many reasons but one main reason would be because Banks are constantly supporting it's advanced technology.

Of course it's a long term investment. I'm also planning to buy Ripple for a long term - no less than 2 years.

Neither it's pointless scammy bullshit responsible for starting the bullshit ICO trend we see today. Not only that but it pisses all over the ideaology of crypto we founded long ago. ..morons should not be "investing" in semi closed source manipulated corporate centralized linked to banks gimmick tokens that were fined by FiNCEN.Unless of course they just want some quick crack money ? Get down, get dooooown boom chicka bow wow ! -- Portrait of an Investard -- Oh and that should have not needed to be said either.. yet again.

Long term, Ripple is controlled by Banks. There will be no high volatility as they control the price For making profit from price growth, you may make mistake in the investment plan. Ripple is unlimited coin, controled by banks. You know banks will not spend much cash to buy ripple for their service. So ripple is investment for banking industries not for us.

Can't really tell if this could make your rich soon or will need some time to pump. One thing I can tell with certainty is that ripple the cripple will definitely pump some day. When, I can't say, but Ripple is among the safest coins to own.

I personally think Ripple is good for long term investment because I think its projects will surely be successful in the future and I do see this coin to be progressing as well. I did try short term earlier this year and preferred to go for long term instead rather than short term because of bitcoins increase of price, it was difficult for me to do short term trading.

In my perspective it has the potenial to grow, but it will go for long term basis because if you can see the price value of ripple $0.206151 so it has a long way run to have a good profit out of it.

Well, Ripple is centralized and it's necessary for banks to use it's technology! Banks will always exists. So with this in mind, you could go long term with Ripple.
