The term "SexCoin" is WAAAAAAYYYYYY more sticky then "LoveCoin".

Quote
This coin doesn't have any new features, and new parameters.  Just a new name and a new team.  we want to  tell every one , the world need love.  At last, I made this coin for my wife Lisa, she like this name, and want me make it better, take the loves to every one.
1.) I lol'ed.
2.) Great overall motivation. :-)
3.) Lisa likes it!!!1
4.) Pix of Lisa plz.

I won't bother with other forum posts, and general comments..

I've been around a while, I started mining bitcoins a little after the first crash from 30 to 3 dollars.

One thing I had to get used to was the media. I would hear something, wonder if it could really be happening and check the news to see what the reports were. Days later the media would finally give a report, usually very short or incorrect. The fact that SXC is shareing the same space as serious cryptos is very telling, and it will take a while for it to penetrate the mainstream.

Lets get on to some major players.. How would we explain that yes there are payment processing tools, they should be able to use those wordpress plugins on their site.. They aren't ametuers that use wordpress ?.. Well...

Cashing out ?, well first they would need to sell their volatile SXC for volatile LTC .. No the money doesn't come yet.. You take that volatile LTC and trade it for volatile BTC.. No you still don't have cash.. You transfer that BTC somewhere else and then you sell it for cash..

The plain fact is we need a USD/SXC conversion in one go, and it's being worked on.. by a developer outside the cryptocommunity ... That takes time.. Just the legalities would make your head ache..

That being said, I can see where we haven't promoted SXC hard or well enough within the "cryptoshere". Part of the problem is we don't want to push a "broken" client. Every other coin might be fine with algorithms that are wildly inaccurate, but lava is not, and I support him fully because if this coin is going to go mainstream, it needs to function perfectly. The original dev was a looking to pump n dump, the majority of coins are pump n dump, but we decided early that integrity would be part of the brand. Think about this.. After a 1500% rise, the devs did not dump their SXC and disappear.. We are still holding and we are still here, on boxing day, wishing we could have a day off...

If you bother to read all of the posts in both threads, you'll see we've gone slow and steady, and ignored the get rich quick, hype ridden, scam ridden paths of most coins. Seeing as we are now getting mentioned by the mainstream media, I'd say it was working.

As for grass rooting, SXC has been mentioned to some webmasters of major sites, but not presented as a finished product. The idea behind this is they will be aware, when the coin is sufficiently developed, that this is not some scam that has just been released, but a finished product with considerable investment and time in it's development.

yes, delete peers.dat, and make sure this node is included in your addnode list: addnode=74.122.234.52

[EDIT] look through your 'debug.log' file and try look for disconnects that record reasons for the disconnect.

In my opinion you've got to be planting seeds along side development not after it.  Get people excited about the convenience and anonymity of it throughout the Adult Industries.  There are more of them(people who don't know what a crypto currency is) than us.  If you're not grass-rootting the shit out of SXC concurrent with its development you are holding yourselves back.

Just my opinion.

Obviously a RELIABLE SXC to USD exchange with USD withdrawals will be crucial to its adoption within the Industry.  They will want a hassle free way to get the money out of SXC once they take it.  But that's just preaching to the choir here obviously.

I do hope SXC succeeds.  The Adult Industry was made for cryptos.

Don't misunderstand me. I wholeheartedly agree with you on this point. And we do have quite a few 'seed-planters'.

Something that anyone that is holding sexcoin can do is send a quick note to the support of any website they like, "When are you going to accept Sexcoin for payment? I want to subscribe but I can't have recurring charges on my CC." If we want grass-roots, all the blades need to sing.

I'm assuming you're on Linux:
Do a log grep -A4 -B4 -i for "blockheight unreasonable". If you get hits for blockheights less than 480000 then you've got a blockheight sanity check problem. Check your source in main.cpp around line 2540, you may need to adjust and rebuild.

If that isn't the problem, double check and make sure you are using the irc connection feature.

If you still have the issues try this:

-delete peers.dat
-use, instead of addnode:
    connect=74.122.234.52:9560
    connect=81.166.156.164:9560
    connect=67.191.160.195:9560

If you are still having problems, I'll be happy to look at your debug.log file. Zip it and send me a link that I can pull it down.

The fact that this is $0.019 right now is absolutely crazy. Who would sell off their SXC for $0.019? I wouldn't even offload mine if it went to $0.005. Sexcoin is a great niche, seriously is. I'd say its one of the most, if not the most undervalued coins right now.

0,024 now.... good increase

I have nothing important to say, just  HAPPY XMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR

On an another note, I'm not a miner but believe in SEXCOIN!

Thanks to all the guys and girls who participate  in the development and promotion of this coin.

Page 100 hopefully will be part of a historic posting page of the early years when sexcoin was very cheap :-)

Someone contact admins of dogeapi.com if they consider making SexCoin-version or giving out their source code.

SexCoin payment provider would be HUUUGE hit.
