The FAQ states that the payment cutoff is .001, not .01:

Quote
Payouts happen once a day at 2:30 AM UTC. If your balance is above 0.001 BTC, then you will get paid.

Is this incorrect? Also, what about the lack of balance climb during the data blackout? Are those hashing cycles just lost?
It used to be 0.001, however, H2O changed it around 3 weeks or so ago to 0.01 daily, or 0.001 after 7 days.

The data "blackout" was on the front-end (graphs part) of the website... it didn't affect mining.

The reason your balance hardly jumped during the blackout is most likely because you didn't have any coins to exchange then.

Perhaps coins that were acquired when your rig(s) were offline were exchanged then.

I experienced a fairly linear climb from where my balance was before the blackout to the next data point after graphs came back online

taken from various addresses the current average is 0.0115 btc per 1mh/day (past 2 weeks).
that's quite good if you're too lazy to trade the coins yourself.

Here it says already the new correct one:

"There is no registration. Simply connect your scrypt miner to middlecoin.com:3333 with your bitcoin address as your username, and any password. Payouts are automatic, and occur once a day, if your balance is greater than 0.01 BTC or if you haven't been paid out in 7 days and your balance is greater than 0.001 BTC."

I'm referring to the FAQ at http://middlecoin2.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/faq.html, linked to from the bottom of every page:

Quote
When do I get paid?

Payouts happen once a day at 2:30 AM UTC. If your balance is above 0.001 BTC, then you will get paid.

They already corrected you. The FAQ was never updated. H2O has horrible communication (Although if you look at his post history, he used to post ALL the time)

Now he says running pool is his full time job with 2 employees, yet he can't be bothered to reply
Unlike h2o, I'm quite bothered to reply. Why don't you just go elsewhere? How good at communication are you, if you're still here and pissing off everyone while you should be busy clearing out your name first.

It looks like we're hopping back and forth between litecoin & dogecoin every couple of minutes (sometimes every few seconds)

Thanks!

Wish we would mine CMC, CIN, ANC, WDC and NEC rather than LTC! If I wanted to mine LTC I would go to an LTC pool. If you're worried about 51% a specific coin, then split up the hashing power between a couple different coins

Those coins are only profitable because of their low difficulty. The most profitable coins right now have difficulties of 2-4. Image just moving a little but of Middlecoin over, you will increase the difficulty a lot and the amount of coins you get = less than before = less profitable.

The problem with splitting to different pools is how do you determine who gets paid what? I think it is pretty easy to just pay people what their hash power deserves but I don't know how difficult that would be to build.

We are sticking to doge coin, lite coin, feather coin and world coin because we can move around and not increase the difficulty too much.

Maybe I'm wrong.

Anyway, pool has been great and h20 does a great job. To all the people complaining about the 90 btc that was transferred out, how do we know it isn't an accumulation of h20's fees?

cgminer 3.5.0

To quote from the appropriate forum : due to the "feature" added in 3.5.1 of waiting for 5 minutes of stability before switching back from failover events which drops profitability on coins that are only mined a few minutes

What do you mean by withdraw only?  You can buy/sell bitcoin there.

If you're in EU : kraken.com gives you SEPA withdrawal for only 0.09 Eur (fixed price) per withdrawal.

Oh and for everyone : they also have a very nifty trading platform, read up on 'trailing stop' orders and use them to ride an upward trend.

How often does the difficulty on those coins go up? If we mine it for 5-10 minutes while it's most profitable then switch coins, it shouldn't be a problem. Changing most profitable coins every 5-10 minutes won't effect the difficulty too much (if they don't  difficulty every minute).

Why not? You will never get your money! That's also why the price is so high.

Gox is priced in monopoly money. You can't get real cash out.

BTC-e is Russian by the way. For cashing out Bitstamp is really good. Forget about Gox prices, they are high for a reason (trapped money)
