I have made an Android application for Middlecoin in my spare time. If you would like to BETA test it feel free to try it out. Would love to hear about your thoughts.

Please as this is an early build, the first time you run the program let it download and process the statistic from Middlecoin.com (currently no progress bar, could take a while) until you get the "Download Complete" message before you add addresses, search and check pool statistics. Thanks.

Untested but should work from Android 3.0

You could also try setting custom intensities for each card, separated by commas (-I 13,13,19,20). You can also use commas on other settings. I don't know the max temp of most of yours, but I do know r9 cards can take up to 94c and be ok (I keep mine at 85-88).

Intensities are already separated by commas Smiley

Cheers guys, I may have a play around when I have some time then.

One last suggestion, make sure the clocks are stable and not fluctuating a bit. Low watts can cause errors. I turn my 290x power limit to +10 when mining, and get as low as .5% rejected on some pools.

interesting, I know the 290 core speed does fluctuate ever so slightly, this is actually a common issue with these cards and it causes the card to drop off of bamt's ui. A friend of mine actually posted a fix for it.

what do you mean by power limit +10? is that a parameter in the config?

In MSI Afterburner, there is an option for "Power Limit." Double checking, I only have it set at +9 with my current clock of 960/1440. But yeah, when the clock bounces like that when at 100% GPU use, it's certainly low wattage. Upping this setting helps make sure it gets more.

My stock clocks were bouncy, too. Only have a 620w.

Let me know if I am doing something right. Smiley

Absolutely. Increase the power play feature where it ramps up voltage based on load. The top end is not pushing power hard enough.

I've found that you can set it either as a cgminer command (--powertune) or in afterburner. In my case, I actually end up flashing the firmware with the new settings since I run in ESXi where I can't access those in a VM.

So...the powertune setting effects the same thing as power limit? Are you sure? If so, I need to edit my config file.

Oddly, I have powertune 30 set, yet it still bounces until I set power limit in afterburner.

Let me know if I am doing something right. Smiley

Since the 14th I've had two payments that have never been received.  I've checked with the exchange that my address leads to and they have no deposit issues and no record of my btc coming in.  I'm hoping its just a mixup in the database but 2 days is a long time to wait for btc.  Pool operator I can give you the transaction addresses if you PM me.

If you like what I've posted, mine for me on whatever algo you like on www.zpool.ca for a minute using my bitcoin address: 1BJJYPRcRPzTEfByCwkeJ8SCBcrnGD1nhL

I'm pretty sure max powertune is 20!

Not 100% sure, but I had this problem, and played with those settings a lot. One thing I also learned... reboot when you change settings because old settings will stick and mess with your experiment. For example, if you set powertune to 20 and run for a while. Then you remove the powertune command all together, the old 20 value sticks...

But also I've never run at 30? I thought 20 was the max safe value.

So I have something interesting I found today.

Here is my hashrate.

http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/1D8D29KxcmPqHsmiypHcEdCc5HqnjYgat.html  <there was a small dip when i moved my machines and one went down last night for a few hours.

Here are 3 other users with a same overall hashrate

http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/1UYijXkzZh4qqQKUkHPeRfbELF3XKmWye.html  <<< very close rate and he makes double what I make

http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/1B2cs9cyAcmNKPjoGdGNUL92FToKSUQaXc.html <<< This guy has the same rate as me, I have been watching it all day and he is making almost double what I am in a day

http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/1D8D29KxcmPqHsmiypHcEdCc5HqnjYgat.html   <<< This one is lower at first but gets higher at the end.. but notice how the earlier payments are similar to mine with double the rate.

I have very few rejects, my pings are 25-35ms, my machines run 24/7.  No odd messages on my screen when running and I have ran it on litecoin/wdc/doge/etc before with no issues.  Why are they making way more than me?  Seems the sharing part of the pool needs tweaking if we are all mining the same and yet I barely make what someone with half the power is making?

This particular topic has been already been discussed several times. Last time was only a few days ago. The best theory right now is that it's server dependant (which I think we have one confirmation for) with the uswest/middlecoin.com server currently having the lowest profits. If that's the server you're using, try using one of the beta servers that are closest to you.

He's probably not reading this thread anymore. PM him instead.

Alt coin prices have taken a big shit today. My BTC/hashrate average dropped a bit to .0125 today. Still beating the profit calculators though so I am happy here at Middlecoin.

We have already noticed these differences.

It seems you can't estimate your payout only by taking some dudes' payouts with the same hashrate.

There are  so many parameters that you don't know from the server: accepted shares, stale shares (and btw do you submit your stale shares?), discarded works, gpus used, PSU, drivers, OS, settings in config files, mod miners, network connections...

I've been mining on 2 different servers (eu and east) these last days: I didn't notice huge differences (same coins mined at -almost- the same time on the 2 servers). I may be wrong but I don't think the differences depend on which server you are.
