Sure, but that's almost natural at this point with those scammers. The reason why i'm sure he didn't read it, is:

This is the e-sign version, the one they request you to sign, not the original "refund and release" agreement.

So they will release the refund after they send the signed refund form back to the user? Meaning that they are free to hold the signed refund form for as long as they please with the customer having no other option?

The only thing about delay i read is :

Hashfast will process this request no later than 30 days after the receipt of this refund request, indicated by a returned,

Hashfast signed copy to the Buyer.

So can you explain ! ?

Do you guys know if there were actual refunds confirmed to be received by anyone here?

If so:

When they requested the refund and what was the batch/order number?
How long did they wait to receive it?
Did they sign "refund release" fu*k off form?

Thanks

That is how i see it.
It would be interesting to see the other differences between the esign version and the 31 of dec version.

Logistic growth curves usually ends like this:

It's hard to know at what step of the curve we are at, but we can't keep adding tens of MW of power usage per month forever.

(in other words, in the end it will become difficult for HF to self mine, since that they can't keep adding MWs of power and keep it safely hidden)

There was one person in batch one that said they took the refund.  Also based on HashFast's response to one of the consumer complaints submitted to the CA attorney general they said the refunded in the low 5 digits in $'s worth of orders so I would say that a solid 4-6 people have probably gotten a refund.

A good article on Ars Technica covering BFL's business practices:

http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2014/04/digging-for-answers-the-strong-smell-of-fraud-from-one-bitcoin-miner-maker/

HashFast take note because this is where you will end up if you don't change your ways.

I've been a day 1 BFL customer and a day 1 HF customer. I can honestly say that my experience with HF was/is worse and the losses greater. Not only has HF broken their stated promises, they lied directly into my face and accused me of being a windfall seeker.

Can't wait hearing similar words about HashLast - I have a feeling that this will happen soon.

Now, there is a stench coming from Butterfly Labs. It's a strong smell. It's not enough to send you to prison today, because, to be quite honest with you, if it was, we'd be talking about 24 months in prison. It's not—I think it's too close. I think [defense witness] Mr. Bourne did a very good job of testifying, and it assisted your defense greatly. But if I find out that there is this fraud word involved in this part, you know, Mr. Vleisides, as we say here at the courthouse, you need to get your toothbrush and get your things in order, because fraud will not be tolerated, you understand that? So I would work very hard to make these consumers happy consumers who you've dealt with.

According to BFL's tax returns, the company lost more than $800,000 in 2012
Tax returns are public in Italy. Too bad they are not in the US.

And maybe that's why they are now using Garret/VMC. Hide it where everyone can see it, they say...

This is a awesome article. I wonder how many complaints about HF have been submited to Consumer Sentinel.
BFL's fraudsters seem to be a bunch of fraud amateurs in comparison to HF.

Please submit it directly to the AG of California, thank you.

https://oag.ca.gov/

(that website has been offline since the heartbleed bug discovery, sad way of fixing a webserver, however there are some webforms that you can download and send by ordinary mail):

http://web.archive.org/web/20140421080305/http://oag.ca.gov/sites/all/files/agweb/pdfs/contact/business_corpform.pdf

If you need some suggestions on what to write on the complain just read hashfast.org or ask for a suggestion here. I'm personally writing a 4 pages document that i find really interesting (this wasn't the purpose, but it could probably serve this well as well).
