It is a risk but it depends on how quickly you want your profits. If you need a quick return and high profits then you need to gamble on low market cap altcoins, but you never really know with these as they can just dump the next day. Just stick with eth even if its expensive to buy. Believe me, ethereum together with bitcoins will eventually make their way up and climb the cryptocurrency ladder with a lot of value in them. Stick with eth and you won't lose profit. If profit comes, diversify them to alt coins or bitcoins.

I think the way you are doing is right, by buying cheap coins and holding them for a long time. But you have to see also the extent to which to survive the coins, because there is part of the coins that will disappear from the market or the price is very cheap, and there is no demand.

I can feel your current mood. I once did the same thing. Obviously the result of the project is a scam. If you only have one ETH left, then I suggest you split it and leave it half ETH is held for a long time, and the other half is used to invest in other tokens! This will reduce your risk a lot!
