Hey, I had this exact same problem trying to use riseup/mail.com domains woudn't work and yeh I hear you - no way to contact anyone, not even an email address.
The only way round this is as others suggested a more common mail provider, which sucks, but if necessary you could set one up just for this.
Sorry to hear you're having problems but don't let it deter you! I signed up in October and only got access in January, then wish I had joined the airdrop months before 
Best of luck with it anyway, you've reminded me to make a support ticket for this problem, to at least have a mention of it somewhere when signing up.
Not receiving a confirmation email really doesn't say a lot.

I guess deeponion will have many new features that monero and dash do not have, such as DeepVault, and others to come.
