You need to have mature coins first, and then you need to wait as there’s no standard time for hitting a stake. However, the more coins you have and the more time you leave your wallet open to stake, the better your chances at hitting a stake will be.

I think only a few has so many pages as DeepOnion (and they are top projects rn), many people are supporting this project from a long time now.

I think the name its just because DeepOnion uses Tor, privacy of course is a feature but that doesn't mean that it was created for darknet markets (and the same idea goes for Tor, but media tell us that is "bad").

It's the choise of a person then how to use her/his funds.
Dark markets will use every kind of tools for their profit, being that btc , eth, monero, deeponion, CASH ..and so on.  Dark markets have existed for thousands of years before deeponion, will exist with deeponion, and will exist thousands of years after deeponion.
The coins is a tool, You chose how to use that tool. Like every other thing in this world
