DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???

Do you know what a depression is? This is no depression not by a long shot. Also don't type in caps.

People act like the world is ending and this happens every single time. The funny thing is the ones who lose their heads on the most part don't even own that many btc to begin with, it's just that there so many of them and their minds are weak.
nice post sir
glad to hear that, I understand that this down is correction move after bigger hit the price
so I think the price need to rest a while before running again
much money out from marketcap but i'm sure it will be back again

We should not be afraid of market falls. These are the laws of the market and we must know this. During the depression it is best to buy coins.

Only the newbs/panic sellers lose money. Everything does always bounce back up....tis the nature of markets.

Expect same will happen 1-2 times more this year....when the next wave of new investors is in deep Cheesy

No, that’s certainly not a depression yet. So far we’ve seen a major correction on crypto market, however, this is a positive thing as all those , who already have enough assets are there for long, while others have a great opportunity to get into crypto by buying good, established coins with a great discount. So that has nothing to do with depression. At least the way I see it. That’s all I have to say) HODL

My greatest crypto depression of January 2018 is not to invest more money when the total marketcap was low at 400 billion.

I was expecting such depression since December. The way prices were pumped during last couple of months is beyond stupidity.
And I have no remorse for those who bought at $19k. Let them learn from it.

I can't be certain if this bearish run has anything to do with tether "conspiracy theories", but even then, this parabolic deviation was long due.
Overall, it's healthy for the community as well. We need the market to grow at a steady pace.

We should not be afraid of market falls. These are the laws of the market and we must know this. During the depression it is best to buy coins.

This reminds me of Darwin's "Survival of the fittest". Wink

The great crypto depression was when I started for the first time to invest in crypto and I thought I would get a few more but maybe not yet. And at that moment I suffered a loss. maybe that is the thing to look for experience.

If you have funds, you still have a chance to invest. Crypto market has been falling and will continue it. Frankly speaking, I'm beginning to fall into depression

I like these names so much, what will happen next, the Great expansion? I think that by the end of the month the market should stabilize, but such a scale chain reaction with a fall in the price of coins will happen again.

DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???

January isn't even finished buddy. If we were going to enter in to a great depression it would be much longer than a month in duration. There is already a 2 year crypto bear period in the history.

it was just a dip, we gotta know that as fast as the uptrends are in crypto are the downtrends, most of us make the newbie mistakes of selling out of panic, when prices are down, but as most veterans will tell you, just hodl,  and sell whenever you reach your target and be happy.

I was a full survivor of the great crypto economic depression because I had some coins or tokens in my portfolio which I didn't sell until the after the price dip. Though I never made much profit but I never had losses. It was an amazing experience I could not forget in a haste.

Such ups and downs happen all the time. Experienced crypto investors have become accustomed to this. We must be patient and calm. In previous years, January was the same. Moreover,  Chinese New Year soon.

I think that this is a temporary phenomenon. The market of crypto currencies is very variable. At the moment, there is a decline in the market, and tomorrow there can already be an incredible rise. We must hope for the best.

It doesn't mean, during or when price of the currency tumbled, we can't sell our body in dismay of coins, so hold what you can and have patience, keep waiting for it to return to normal. And when currency crashes, it can be a good opportunity to buy more bitcoins.

Great Crypto Depression - sounds too serious for what it rally was:) i mean that something that used to be no longer than a mnth can hardly be called grest:) it was nothing but stagnation which is pretty typical of any economical model. Go learn the basis:)

Every year, around this time, there is such a drop of bitcoin and all the others along with it. To this you need to be ready.

Why do people react so unruly to fluctuations in the exchange rate? Last year in January, the situation was much worse and see what happened in 2017. I think that after some fluctuations the market will again go up.

BIG WINNER!
