I’m curious if there’s a lot of US user on this casino since they  started to introduced KYC before due to their license acquisition while their license doesn’t allowed US players to access the casino, at least that’s what I knew about this casino.

Well I just checked the freebitco site traffic and the majority of the traffic is from the United States of America. This is around 16% traffic from USA and after that, the 2nd traffic source is from France, which contributes to 8% of the site traffic. The actual numbers may vary a bit as I checked these stats from free tools available online, but yeah most of the players playing at freebitco are from USA but I am not sure if the USA government can take down the site if it is being operated outside of the US

I also do wonder what happened to wetsuit and thequin, they were running the website and they went AFK, and for a short while they responded as someone else will respond, some PR guy, but that went away quickly too. I fear at this point it may not be a scam but a serious health situation that causes them to not be around anymore.

There are other possibilities too, like having sold the business to someone else so there is no reason for them to respond to anything anymore. Or a worse scenario is if the owners of the site were arrested for some crime they committed that was unrelated to this business, so the site keeps running but with this type of issues!

I did not know freebitcoin had issue. Well its been long I visited bitcointalk and this thread particularly as I got busy elsewhere.

Is the site having deposit issues? I deposited $20 USD into Fun Token almost a day ago and nothing has appeared. How many confirmations do I need on the Fun Token blockchain?

Read a few pages of this thread, the FBC team are scammers, they have disappeared and aren't processing any withdrawals.

Oh my God, its a shit news for me! I have been on freebitcoin so long I dont even remember! And I am still rolling, and using their FUN premium feature. I almost got BTC 0.0026 on the freebitcoin site and additional 37K FUNs.

FreeBitco.in was started in 2013 and in all these years (except the last two years), it has been one of the trusted platform. Being the pioneer platform, I am sure almost everyone who uses crypto for some time must have used freebitco in one way or another. Most of the users used to collect free Satoshi from its faucet back in 2016/17 era and before.

Once the site had problems they were not taken seriously as everyone thought that this platform could not scam as it had been running for many years. Everyone including me thought that all these problems were temporary and would be resolved, but now it seems that they are really a scam or in the process to exit scam.

A year and a half ago is actually like between last year and this year, but the issue with freebitco actually started in the forth quota of 2023, that was towards the ending of 2023 when we all were anticipating the bitcoin halving of 2024 and speculating on the bull run that will follow, I remember vividly a lot of us were always discussing about buying fun token in anticipation of its price increase when the 2024/2025 bull run comes as a result of the halving, this was when the issue wit this casino started and not a year and half ago..

It's over 2 years already, and yeah, the issue did started small, from minor stuffs that got fixed to where we are today, what many of us assumed was minor and would be fixed have become a full exit scam and funny enough, i still get a lot of android notifications through chrome browser from this casino offering me several types of bonuses to claim if a deposit, I believe this is what they are using to capture some people who are not aware of the current situation of the platform and it's pathetic.

HYIP monitoring sites aren't exactly reliable. Most of the sites being promoted on there are ponzi schemes. These monitors are often paid to lie and say a website is still paying so the ponzis can keep getting new deposits. In reality, withdrawals are still not being processed and are unlikely to ever resume.

If FreeBitco.in was still paying there would have been some users coming here to notify everyone and they would be able to provide a transaction hash as evidence.

Yeah, it is very likely it was sold and those scammers that scam us now are not the same people as those who used to run site in the past, but still, I think, the responsibility lays on the previous owners. They should have warned the community about the transaction.

Hhampuz sent a message to TheQuin but he hasn't received a response from him. He hasn't heard from TheQuin since that day. The way problems happened on Freebitco and the way we hear no response from the owner and TheQuin, I'm confident that freebitco isn't sold but these people are arrested and that's why Freebitco faces so many problems. It's definitely not an exit scam, looks more like a business that got abandoned and runs on its own or with a very little help.

One can not say that Freebitco was sold due to lack of clear disclosure by TheQuin and the team. The issues of the long silence and the delayed signature campaign, as well as withdrawal, make the site look more abandoned than any other. In the absence of official updates, we only speculate and hope that we will know.

The withdrawal fee is probably adjusted automatically based on the network conditions. I highly doubt it's adjusted manually.
In the past months, the required fee rate for getting fast confirmation has usually been less than 1 sat/vbyte and I think that's why you haven't seen any change in their withdrawal fee.

It may not be sold, if it was just sold then the new owners would try to recover as much as possible, plus the hot wallet is still the hot wallet and whenever someone deposits, someone else can withdraw, which means that it is only untouched. In fact, they may have not even stolen our money, it could be that wetsuit just passed away, or went to jail, like something that is about him not being able to reach out, and for that reason he can't change anything.

So this hurts a lot of people who had money in, but in theory it didn't get stolen neither, it's jut there, with nobody able to reach into it and give people their money, it's rotting in there. When owners die, there is no way to get that money, if they didn't put a plan in place before they die.

I agree since there's no use for changing those fees or anything especially if there are still lots of pending withdrawal didn't process by the management. Its crazy to read that these issue still happening here and even lots of people discuss about these for many times still they didn't bother to fix all the mess they made.

For sure that those people are just waiting to get their withdrawals and they provably won't gamble back here. I do hope those people still gamble in their casino would listen to the discussions and suggestions posted here that its not good for them to continue to gamble in this casino. I noticed their associated wallets in Arkham have been emptied 9 months ago. If Freebitco is truly experiencing a liquidity crisis, no smart investor would be willing to pay for the "sins" of the former owner.

You mean that you didn't face any problem in the last year? And it's only 3 days that you are experiencing issues with them?

Even if they come back, they will have huge money to be paid back to the user which I believe they wont. It will break down the freebitco liquidity.

It will be a disaster for them if they come back. They had bot problems, have so many pending withdrawals and damaged reputation. If they come back, they'll have to handle too many transactions and I assume, they don't have enough resources for that. They'll only lose every money if they return back. I hope they'll shut down the website for better but they don't do it, which I don't understand.

I don't think that moderators will close it because there isn't enough evidence to support the idea that those wins aren't legit. People post so rarely in that thread that I think those wins are legit but whether they get any kind of bonus or actually get their withdrawal confirmed, is another task. Sadly, none of them who posted in that thread say anything about withdrawals.
