I've been using the site since it started 4 years ago and I've won the 3rd level quite a few times. The fact I haven't won above that is statistically normal as I have only rolled 7,558 times. How many rolls have you had?

There was 1 bitcoin giveaway every hour + big rewards per claim + they had adsense and it was making all of these available because of high income from ads + withdraw was free. Now user needs months to collect amount of btc which will cover withdraw fees. Freebitco isn't that old site, their aim is no to be a wallet and invest it in mining at the same time + give profit from it to it's users.

Yes back then it wasn't only freebitco which was generious in their offerings.

Basically back in 2015, you could of went to any medium/large dice site such as Primedice and you were given a 1000 Sats free faucet. After maybe 5 BTC rollover the faucet increased to like 3000 Sats and back then you could of made many alts like "John1 or John2 or John3" and when you won like 10000 Sats or so you could tip your main account and the moderators didn't care and let you do it.

Now its all different. I think these days there are simply way too many "freeloaders" that don't make up the "large whales who lose BTC" for the casino to end up generating a profit.

If BTC price goes up again then you may need even more time to reach your withdrawal limit. These faucet sites are not good to earn money in the long run. I just use their faucet money to buy lottery tickets sometimes.

I'm using the site for about 6 months now and made about 2000 rolls. I got the 3rd best prize about 3 or 4 times, but not better.
What really increased my freeroll winnings was by wagering in the Hi/Lo game, though this is very risky.
