Only two of my (~30) aliases appear with http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=4000&acc= 18146608053740744717

when did you made the assigment?

On some of my accounts I don't see everything I've registered. Is it because it was recently? Does it take a couple of days for this blockchain site to list it?

If I search the link with the particular alias i've registered I see that it's assigned to the URI i've chosen, but i don't see the aliases on that account Aliases in NXT BlockChain site.

can I get some linux help here?  Im looking at adding more VPSs, I have 5 on digitalocean now, im trying out budgetvm next to spread things around a bit.  Only OSs they have are:

Debian 6
CentOS 6.2
Fedora Core 16
Gentoo 2013
Scientific Linux 6.2
Slackware 13.37
Ubuntu 12.04

none of these support jre1.7 w/o complicated steps.  Which of these is easisest to upgrade to latest ver after a base install?

for centos, if you didn't find jre1.7 from standard repo, you can install rpmforge(repoforge),
then you have more packages to select.

----------------------------------------------
blockexplorer update
----------------------------------------------
during blockchain reorganisation i have added alias to the account view, so you can check your current alias portfolio.

here is a nice example (1.721 registered aliases) -> http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=4000&acc=2345678935869777788

if an uri is provided (most haven't now), the alias links to that page.
adding a fast q-gram searchengine + some basic statistics for all aliases tomorrow.
(total registered so far: 22.194  )

WOW very nice work nexern. Thank you. Also in my account here I have some aliases listed twice

http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=4000&acc=3431598781176090443  any reason why ?

right, i can see it. don't know atm, perhaps a reassignment?
i have to ask cfb tomorrow anyway about the structure like
case sensitive, reassignment, transaction id etc. i have seen
also double naming for the aliases i have registered due to
a reassignment but now it's ok. will check this tomorrow right
after the first coffee.

ps: i am interested in one of your aliases, shall we wait until auction
is ready or do you plan to keep them all?  Wink

Look like we will have a very promising alias market in the future. I will wait at least until alias transfer function implemented Smiley

Need help!

Sorry if my problem is written already, but with my poor English it's  not possible to read this whole thread - this would need month meanwhile...

I downloaded and installed nxt.zip version 0.3.13. I created the bat-file and created in my browser my account. I see working "active peers" and in the blocks field is written "Recent blocks (60)" -  nothing else...
I thought nothing happened because I don't have any NXT in my account and bought some at dgex.com. Now I see in the blockchain that the NXT are sent to my account, but nothing changed... I don't see them in my account and no more blocks appairs...
What I am doing wrong? I have to say that I have a very low internet connection.. Can this be my problem?

Thanks for any help!

you should at least instal 0.4.5

can't say now, it could be due to the bc-reset. i have traversed the whole alias api and it gave me 22.194
alias transaction numbers, directing via a second api call to the linked account, uri and alias. at least this is what the blockchain
delivers atm. i have checked some other accounts and all aliases are there. best is i check this with cfb tomorrow.

nexern,

I got all the names during the horrible int overflow and rewind. After the rewind I registered again. And then since some of the names weren't showing up after I woke up this afternoon, I registered them again if the getAliasUri didn't show up right. I figured an extra NXT was worth it.

http://localhost:7874/nxt?requestType=getAliasURI&alias=jimbo properly maps to my website
but it does not appear in the name list.

MORE NEWS - A file CDN! The latest NRS is now available here: http://files.nxtbase.com/nrs-0.4.7e.zip and served from 231 locations. Donations accepted as I'm paying for this directly.

I will publish new versions there.

2 suggestions:

@ferment,
could the directory listing be opened, so people actually see what is the latest version number is without having to search through a lot of posts on the thread for the link.

@CfB,
could the latest version be also uploaded under nxtlatest.zip (or similar) filename to make automating downloads easier with bash scripts.

ok picked gentoo13 cause it was built in Jan 2013 and i figure has a better chance of supporting jre1.7  but now:

I try:  localhost ~ # emerge -pv screen

and get this:
Quote
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies \

wth, I try using all combiatons of adding 1.5 and ~amd64 but still cant get it.

I swear linux sucks so much balls.  18 different package managers.  with freebsd its just pkg_add

so what now to install stuff

You cannot. You can register new account with strong password and transfer all credits from old

Ok I understand. But.. how can I create a new account?  Huh the interface isn't very intuitive...

People, how can I change my password account in the NXT wallet? I can't see any options...
You cannot. You can register new account with strong password and transfer all credits from old

Ok I understand. But.. how can I create a new account?  Huh the interface isn't very intuitive...

Just click the padlock at your login screen.  Type a new password.  It will automatically generate a new account number with your password (As I understand it the account numbers are generated based off of passwords).  Then transfer the NXT from your old account (typing in your old password) to the account number you see when you sign in with new password.
