Btw, how does one validate addresses? CFB? Just look for the right length or something?

Any address from 0 to 264-1 is a valid address.

So indeed, "5", or "347" are valid. and 18446744073709551616 is the max account? (18 quintillion?)

Don't have enough fingers to make sure, but I believe we can't get "6" if we subtract "1" from an even number...

I forgot the minus 1 ;-)

FFS NxT is not premined, it's 100% PROOF OF STAKE. Not PROOF OF WORK.

Do you understand the difference?

The stakeholders, including the developer paid for their NXT in Bitcoin. 1 BTC is the maximum one could invest. Furthermore, it's in the stakeholders best interest to sell and distribute their NXT otherwise it's worthless. Most have been doing just that.

It's not a scam, it's an entirely different paradigm. Please read up on proof of stake, coins aren't mined, they're "minted". Your minting ratio is based entirely on how many coins you hold. The number of coins in circulation is static, therefore any coins that are minted are 100% from transaction fees.

They are only worth about 10 cents right now too.

Am I crazy, or is NXT no longer listed on coinmarketcap?
no more

yeah, it's likely to that blockchain explorer issue, it's not stable yet, not syncing right, so it goes on and off from coinmarket.

the reason for this are malformed timestamps within the datafeed. i am facing same problems here and
wrote an additional verifier/reformater this night. will speak with gdex about this today, perhaps he can add this.
these days it is not easy to keep an near realtime service up to date. while a standard node could be restarted
within a couple of minutes blockexplorer e.g. has to deal also with various datafeeds, which are under attack too,
buffered into various databases which needs to re-synced while attack is running.
moreover explorer is also flooded with bot http query reqests which i was able to reduce also last night, so i am
expecting a reduced load from now on. all in all the explorer was only 25 min, offline during these attacks.
next week i am switching from the current single core vps to  beefy quadcore, which should make things easier.

besides this i am also working on the client (~1 h/day) to keep the timeframe for the assest exchange latest end
next month and atm i am on the local market depth storage for the client unfortunaly these explorer issues eats
important devtime but end next week i intend to work fulltime on the client to add more features for the start.

ps: where can i find the lastest 0.4.7e?
getting 0.4.5 when using the known downloadlink and node stucked again. perhaps an upgrade will help.

add this string though, it probably has only 2 hosts there now:

Could someone help me out?
I've registed a load of aliases yesterday, but they still do not show up in the block chain?
Is this a known delay or do I need someone to work on it manually?

The faucet is now changed; minimum coins you will receive is 2, maximum is 4.

What is going on with Nxt? I am trying to dump and dgex won't load due to an internal error. Anyone else getting this? It is annoying because the price is snowballing.

so then may be this: "
Note: Due to ongoing node attacks, data shown here should be considered with caution. Data reorganization in progress."

or we have a bug in the alias Cheesy

I'm not getting any NXT from the Nxtra NXT faucet. What is up with that?

Transaction ID: 4573184923742316796

It also says the transaction doesn't exist when I know it's been processed by the site already.
