In continuation of the announcement that we r looking for more Nxt core devs, there are features we r planning to implement till block 525960 (in alphabetical order):

- Alias System (done) - similar to DNS
- Arbitrary Messages (partially) - any soft can send messages in custom format
- Asset Exchange (done) - currency/stock exchange
- Distributed Computing (concept not ready) - similar to BOINC
- Distributed Storage - similar to Torrent
- Instant Transactions (requires peer review) - transactions with guaranteed confirmation
- Mixing Service (concept not ready) - laundering service
- Multisignatures - multisignatures
- Service Providers - off-chain services
- Shrinking - shrinking of bloated blockchain
- Smart Contracts (concept not ready) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_contract
- Transparent Mining (partially) - can't describe in few words
- Two-phase Payments - payments with extra confirmation
- Voting System - good old democracy

I'd like to get ur opinions what features should be implemented in the 1st place.

Could we get, or is there a location for descriptions for each of what these do?

If you've had an alias nabbed: it's always possible for a bot to listen to the network for new alias request messages, and quickly submit a new one for the same alias and +1 fee, on the basis that if it's requested by one person it might be valuable one day, and so worth a (probably 2nxt) punt. Doubt anyone would bother now though.

Transparent Mining solves this problem. Transactions will be encrypted and only miners of next blocks will be able to decrypt them.

I would like a Dark Wallet feature where wallets would endlessly mix the coins in the background - big stakeholders are pretty much fucked up regarding anonymity and hoarding for mining purposes makes the situation even worse.

I suppose it is the other side of the NXT coin

I vote, Voting, Mixing, Instant Transactions.

Mixing and Instant Transactions would give this currency a major boost.  IMO would solidify it as the best currency.

NB: very important, if you do this DO NOT enter your secret key on that node as it is likely to be visible in the heap dump (hallmarks are okay).

The software keeps the passphrase in memory? That would be a bad idea.

My assumption. How else should it sign messages? I believe CfB confirmed a feature to work around this would be developed:

In future it will be possible to "freeze" an account using multi-sig feature. U can forge but can't do transactions.
