Someone could still be willing to sell the account password and alias(es) in it, and swear to never unlock it ever again and the buyer could transfer away the alias once alias transfer is implemented.

Hi everyone , regarding the logo of next I’m proposing to major stakeholders big stashes of nxt make one with the help of 99designs.com ,I've made my self there a logo for a project I'm working on at the moment (sorry but I cant show it in public yet, may be in private only, since the project isnt ready) , and I can tell you that all this logos which are made until now on the forums are just junk comparing with the ones that its possible to choose from 99designs ...

Not a sort of socialism, but transparency and limits of power for most powerful members of network.

Since socialism works only until it runs out of other people's money, it's ok not to have it. Is it even possible long term? I don't think so. Basic human instincts are the same for thousands of years and don't comply with socialism.

I suppose combination of capitalism and socialism can work out if we'll build machine world (a nice one; some new techrevs ahead from now) instead of hundreds of millions of people do the "screw"-thing only trying to survive.

It's all about labor capacity: product per hours. Edged stone was out first lever to thriving, big smart machines'll be next.

Decentralization'll be part of a nice scenario for sure (in a some bad scenarios we'll simple all die).

What's the best procedure for when a server hangs in a block? I normally delete blocks.nxt and transactions.nxt and restart the server, but the last 2 servers I did this, are stuck in block 0 and not downloading the blockchain. I'm using 0.4.7.e.

 Says that we can enable aliases as our account? sweet. I updated "jef" to point to my account number, and when I added account "jef" it instantly pointed to my account number and showed my balance.

 FTW this is great.

Try copying over .bak files, not to download from block 0.

also is the URI pointing to your address? and also why not register a shorter easier one as well? twin, winner, or nerd.. you could be using this the rest of your life.. so much easier to say "send me 10nxt to twin"
