NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information

I just keep going on and on about the Raspberry Pi and its critical role in NXT...  

Here's a suggestion for possible inclusion the upcoming 0.4.8 version of client software: a small Raspberry Pi icon on the right side of the center area icons, next to the dark silhouette figure / Accounts button (which when clicked only opens up an "in development" window).   Clicking on this icon would bring up a Public Service Announcement (PSA) saying that as a NXT cryptocurrency owner, it's in everybody's best interest for them to sink $50 more at Newarks and set up a Pi node and leave it running continuously for the good of the NXT network.  Followed by further background on why, links on where to go for further info and software images, etc. etc.

The bigger NXT gets, the bigger the DDoS waves are going to get in the future.  It's not to early to think about soldier recruitment advertising in preparation for this all out war.

We'll get rid of this interface soon and replace it with good old black/white console...

I have finally completed a brand new profesionally looking introducing video for the Nxt hompage. It took me 6 days and long nights (one day up to 7 AM), but finally here it is:

If you like the video and think it will help build a good reputation (some guys wrote that they didn’t believe in Nxt, but after they watched my previous video (http://youtu.be/zALTChPsXhQ), they changed the opinion). It took me about 50-60 hours to create it during these holidays. Since I have no job I decided to help Nxt with marketing and I will continue. But now I would also probably pay for the download of HD version that I would upload on:
Youtube
Facebook
Vimeo
and many other sites

Then I would pay for deleting of the logo, if you think the video deserves to be used at our homepage (like Mastercoin or Bitcoin). Do not hesitate to comment video now, I can change or improve it before releasing it to the other platforms. There can still be changed logos if we choose another ones..

Then I will be promoting this video in at least 100 sites, in comments to other youtube videos, as I spent so much time making it, I will try to get as much attention as possible....

After a month of watching Nxt and trying to help the community I could insert to the video explanations of some myths and misinterpretations. I used my experience with other videos I had created before. Then I added my own research, when I used important comparations with Bitcoin… Thanks (big thanks) to Ola I could provide a powerfull voice over, and with permission of Psybits I used some of his sentences for the voice scenario, since I am from central Europe and I know english only thanks to TV Shows. Also I thank to QBTC for providing current logos in HD.

Then I am planning to take care of the googledoc, put some organisation to the marketing departments... Since I can see tech section works fine here, we from the marketing must work hard too and help you build stronger community so you won’t need so much nodes … It would be  fantastic to have Wikia translated in 10 languages before 3rd January And yes, my Czech version isn’t all translated yet, but soon it will be. Then I must finally write some blog posts about last week big things, but I was so stucked with the video

BTW we are still looking for: Indian translators, organizators and maybe english native correctors, since we have only 2. Maybe it will be enough. But all doors are always opened here:

You have to set your aliases in java nxt, forward them to the account you wish

I own jef and trixie with my main account, forwarded trixie to point to her account and created richardrutowicz from his own account

In theory I could buy accounts for anyone, say superwonderfulamazing and point it to CfB and anyone who sent nxt to that account, would be forwarded through the alias system to him

You can also add it to dropbox, and then sync your android to dropbox. Apk sits right there and as long as you have third party app installs allowed, it will just install that easy.

There's a small mistake in the beginning of the video.

Approx. at 0:10 the narrator says: "...called Bitcoin, but it was too SLOWLY..."

if i broadcasted a transaction that still hasn't been published over an hour later, what are the chances that if i make new transaction for the same amount and broad cast that one also that the older one might also resurface causing both to be published and twice as many coins to be transferred as intended?

U should wait when the 1st transaction expires, then u should make sure that u r on the longest chain and send 2nd transaction.

There is a solution to this problem, but it's not implemented in client soft - rebroadcast transactions after some period of time (shouldn't be confused with sending the same amount to the same account).

Hi everyone , regarding the logo of next I’m proposing to major stakeholders big stashes of nxt make one with the help of 99designs.com ,I've made my self there a logo for a project I'm working on at the moment (sorry but I cant show it in public yet, may be in private only, since the project isnt ready) , and I can tell you that all this logos which are made until now on the forums are just junk comparing with the ones that its possible to choose from 99designs ...

customers not going to like waiting 24 hours.

as an aside why do i need to be on the longest chain? shouldnt my transaction propagate across the whole network causing it to get included on real chains and orphan chains alike?

How would that work without Nxt being divisible and most block fees above 0 are still in the single digits.
