Is there a ddos happening now? What do you mean by "work on the chain"?
This message is on the chain explorer: "We are moving to a bigger server right now. Database will be down for 24h. " http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=3000&acc=6635869272840226493&offset=1edit: 28031 2584657662098653454 30-12-2013 02:07:02 0 0 + 0 0 B 1 15056068292291193239 622 % double-edit: Have you tried closing and restarting the java app itself? That is what usually helps for me. What also is recommended in these cases is deleting blocks.nxt and transactions.nxt and restarting everything to download the entire chain from scratch. Hope that helps

that is just the database for the website. To my knowledge it would take some truly advanced tech to update the blockchain on all the nodes!
I was on block 28000+, so the mystery remains about the missing sends...

Can someone help me? I made a transfer on the 27th worth 17,000 NXT from DGEX.com into my NXT account (13480670143410523480). Up until today it was saying that the withdrawal was pending on DGEX, but now it is saying it has been completed. I haven't seen it in my NXT account yet. The transaction wasn't on the blockchain explorer yesterday, and I can't check it right now because the explorer is down. This is my transaction:
2013-12-27 05:19:38 Withdrawal fee 0.00000000 2013-12-27 05:19:38 NXT Withdrawal COMPLETED -17000.00000000
Should I be worried?

[via google spreadsheets] And what does it tell us? Think that's the buy/sell graph. So the price that people are willing to sell and price that people are willing to buy is around the .00007002-.0000752 range. I don't know why yuri posted it though

I found it quite an interesting read. edit: Orrechorre, they should arrive if you put in the correct account number. Maybe it takes a while.

Think that's the buy/sell graph. Like collapsing waves, or better: annihilating BTC $, we all remeber that Nxt is quantum-based, bgg

I don't know why yuri posted it though Take a look at the Bitcoin buy/sell chart here for comparison ( http://www.bitcoinity.org/markets/bitstamp/USD). The amounts of buys and sells are inclusive as one moves away from the "center," the market price at the moment. I also don't know why he posted it, but it's an interesting and informative chart.

I have an URGENT feature request. Currently ALL addresses are valid and sending money to an acct create it. This is all cool and stuff, but one typo and money is gone forever.
Without changing too much of the code, I think if we just brought up a warning that "you are about to send money to an account with zero balance. Are you sure?" or even better would be to display some basic statistics about the account that is being sent to, time acct has been open, number of transactions, etc.
This way before irrevocably sending money to the void, we can at least do a sanity check on the type of account that will be getting the funds.
I do not advise going to a large scale deployment without such a safeguard. I just lost a lot of precious NXT due to late night sleepytime typo

Meaning that the Deadline is not over, but it is also not included in a block. Why it is that way, i don't know. Maybe someone else can elaborate.

Only 200 aliases... I feel I should have at least twice that. Some are registering hourly,,, some others are not adding though. Could it take more than 24 hours to update? See someone locked in Sakura in all 30 plus ways it can be written Still got an alt of it in 1337 I hope you make a lot of money from it. heh, probably not Some aliases I'm very surprised I got. Other fairly obscure ones I'm surprised were already taken. Waiting for the servers to come online as I have another 700 to input. I can see doing 10k atleast... Kinda wish you could batch upload a list of Aliases.... instead of this tedious 1 by 1 shit
