...
eMunie will be released, and it will be successful.
- thank you for sharing your thought about eMunie.
And we know your attitude toward Nxt:
..
I didn't commit to any specific actions when I sent in my BTC back in September - I'm not so much a stakeholder as an investor/gambler. I'm grateful to those users who are actively doing things to support NXT, but was there an agreement we signed? Everyone is following their own self interest.

apperently when his investment is in danger he is more commited Wink

theoretical limit?

Block size for a single message (~32 KiB currently). No limit for chained transactions.

@ Cfb

A few days ago you mentioned that soon the network will be able to forge constant blocks every 60,000 ms...I have been thinking on this and my conclusion is that with the current network size every account which is able to forge will be forging blocks on a daily basis...well at least the major ones.

No. "Time warp" won't get rid of account dispersion, only time between blocks dispersion will be affected.

so "Time wrap" won;t improve time to forge for smaller accounts?

What is better? The RaspPi or the Cubieboard? I wan´t to use it as an Nxt node AND as a media box. (uploading music and movies to it to broadcast it to the tv)

I ordered a RaspPi, but they won´t send it out till mid Feb, so I could change over to Cubie, but have almost no knowledge about it.

CfB, one minor question:

I sent test AM with message 81752, but http://localhost:7874/nxt?requestType=getTransaction&transaction=1240118716823248995
shows "8175":

{"sender":"170416732708489709","fee":1,"amount":0,"timestamp":4312438,"referencedTransaction":"0","confirmations":2,"subtype":0,"block":"10289022946384434995","attachment":{"message":"8175"},"senderPublicKey":"f2516121b3818cbd7111f92a5d8b41364d5c69d59b6ac1d0c1512bf0fba70f43","type":1,"deadline":1440,"signature":"57f00e08cfb38965ef7aaa1e3dc3779ad7028613a6d70f5c5c269f354bc56e0bd2379d7b6ade9bd fb64f840d438ee814e6e699e8cf479f01bfd0fad0cc9e85d5","recipient":"2188150531481501337"}

Does it OK or bug?

Guys sorry I keep on doing this but desperate times needs desperate measures, I need 0.3BTC, willing to sell NXT for it.

PM me a price, don't get too greedy and I assure you I will be willing, I am waiting here with my client sync'ed and ready!

Will take me a while to climb up again, But where is a will, there is a way...

J-L, CfB

Can you give any estimation what will be the cost for further development and maintianing of the NXT network/year?

Purely from DEV point of view.

Could you make such estimation please?

NXT does not have that X-factor. The BCNext disappearing act is enigmatic, but it doesn't inspire loyalty

No, what is enigmatic is that I 1) can't pre-purchase any eMunie or 2) load up a Mac wallet and start hatching. Or find out what the inflation/equilibrium algorithm is or half-a-dozen other questions that remain to be answered.

Coming in here and damning NXT with faint praise just seems... odd.

I can't think of one soul here (that contributes regularly) that impugns eMunie, speaks poorly about the dev/team, etc. All of us are too busy here with our 'no X-factor' enterprise to really give eMunie much notice.

Once I can actually download a client, that may change.

Is anyone going to become an NXT/fiat gateway when Asset Exchange is launched? I know about only 1 such case.

We are working on putting a very simple broker type of service were people can buy NXT with EUR.
It will be very very simple and the sole purpose of it is going to be just give "easier" way of buying NXT without going through the hassle of getting btc and then converting.
I hope we will be ready in 1-2 weeks.

Someone in Canada should open USD-NXt gateway, I suppose it would be easier three with RoboCon and everything. Here in States, the NSA scares the shit out of me. But because of NXT cause, I might try to do something. But lol I expect to get a "cease and desist" letter very soon and I have to stop anyway.

With NRS 0.55, I am getting a LOT of "java.lang.NullPointerException" in my nodes.

About 50% of the time I restart a server, it starts showing this error, way more than previous versions.

What causes it? Can this be fixed?
