yeah bter I believe changes the amount possible to withdrawal based on volume. I remember DOGE having the same problem early on as well.

It would make sense for them to do this to 1) maintain liquidity for everyone to trade and 2) they can profit from the transactions when there is a fee 3) they profit from the spread similar to coinbase.

Higher volume higher withdrawal or higher volume lower withdrawal? Also what is the idea behind this. What is it intended to accomplish?

Does anyone else love the fact that Doge is trading $14mil a day?  At least it shows the crypto community has a sense of humor.  That is going be one massive crash and burn.  

I don't think we can underestimate the permanence of DOGE. It traded over half as much as BTC today, 8 times NXT's healthy volume. This is not a joke anymore. It should get the lions share of the speculative frenzy money and hopefully reduce NXT volatility, but ever heard of the "network effect"? Basically, once something becomes popular, it reinforces itself and becomes more popular because it is popular.

It has already surpassed LTC and since it is technically essentially LTC, it could just take its place. Since it costs so little, people spend it a lot more freely and the Jamaican bobsled team is going to the olympics due to DOGE. Pure marketing with essentially no tech can be quite successful. The fact that DOGE traded 30%+ of its entire marketcap in one day means something, I'm just not sure what it means...

Clearly there is a lot of new money flowing into NXT and DOGE and it is coming from the other coins. Now we just need to followthrough with all the tech NXT promises and as DOGE goes toward LTC marketcap, NXT will go toward BTC marketcap.

I like Doge, I even bought 16K just to be part of it. For me Nxt haters and Doge haters are the same lousy trolls. Nxt offers lots of innovations, Doge offers lots of fun. How somebody can not like Doge   I also see no reason for crush. At least not more then for Ltc and other forks.

Usually whenever something goes above its alltime high, it is clear sailing for a while. Not timewise, but pricewise. This is because nobody is left who is holding at a loss. Nobody left who is eager to sell soon as they get back to breakeven after holding a loss for two weeks.

.000125 at bter! Getting within striking distance of alltime high for NXT. If we go above alltime high (what is it anyway?) then 50% above that is a distinct possibility within a day or two.

was wondering for a while why DOGE was selling so high. Then read http://mashable.com/2014/01/20/dogecoins-amaica-bobsled-team/ ... if only NXT thought of that lol . DOGE seems to be in a middle of a pump, but the dumps have been mostly eaten up so far. middlecoin just had almost a 90-100BTC DOGE selloff dropping it to 170 then a few minutes later it bumped back over 200...don't know how far up its going, because I thought the middlecoin dump would have brought the sellers out.

NXT has been on a roll as of late, hopefully it keeps on going.   and none of those middlecoin multi-pools can do a thing. Other than big stakeholders.

Keep in mind, the speculators are buying the rumour and will be selling on the news. I think the rumor is that the new client and asset exchange are coming out soon. Fast money comes in before the actual release and when it does, fast money sells. They are in it just for a week or so, do not be surprised if the price goes down after the release of new client.

This is normal. Strange, but normal. As NXT devs get more and more credibility, there is less and less risk in putting money in based on release schedule. The fast money does not want to be in for the long haul, if you are, you can just ignore the price roller coaster. losing 40% to 60% from alltime high is also normal. last cycle we lost more than that due to special circumstances, plus until bter we didn't really have a true market price.

Remember, when NXT achieves the same market acceptance as BTC, the value would be close to the ratio of BTC vs NXT, or .012 BTC for each NXT. Since NXT will have a lot more benefits than BTC, it will achieve market acceptance parity a lot sooner. It will be a lot easier for NXT to gain tenfold from here than for BTC to gain tenfold.

Even after that tenfold gain, we still have another tenfold gain to go.

To all that complained about NXT distribution, the time for complaining is over. You can keep complaining, or you can join us. You've watched and seen what the NXT community is doing. We will figure out what needs to get done to achieve .012 BTC and then we will get it done. Continuous improvement in all areas, even marketing!
