Can we do anything else in the testnet except issuing assets ? ( i know it is the client functionality issue ). I used fmiboy's client.

It took me a while to figure out that right click helps!!!    Cheesy

Don't feel bad, same thing here!

And of course the java doesn't make it feel snappy, either.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

How change password in the NXT account???

You can't. Your passphrase **is** your account. Use a new, desired passphrase and transfer if you don't like your current passphrase.

And this is worth checking out, please excuse the off topic - Standard Bank testing Bitcoin Wallet.

Interesting - I had predicted this might happen a long time ago so am happy to see at least one bank is giving it a go (if they go public I think it will be huge).

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

I can code this after the community approves the NIP. The most interesting part is to see how the approval will be handled.

Let's vote.

Perhaps one topic could put a post linking to the other and be locked rather than have two topics for the same thing?
(not going to suggest who should do what - maybe you guys can work that out together)

Let's vote.

(.)(.)

Let's poke.

edit: No, really. What's this Ninja in Pajamas about? Please clarify the proposal!

Things are starting to move quickly. Is april really set in stone?

Doge users don't read about Bitcoin. 99% of them don't even suspect that Bitcoin exists.

Do not drink a triple shot latte after being jet lagged with only 3 hours of sleep after 35 hours traveling! I apologize to anybody that I unintentionally dDos'ed. I want to do what the community wants and all I was hearing was for me to stop. I was wrong. Thanks to all who voiced support public and private. So for better or for worse, I will be around for a long time now. You can thank (or blame) neer.g for that. I will be moving my more speculative discussions to nxtcrypto.org and limit my posts here to one or two hot projects and descriptions of active issues in nxtcrypto. Of course, if nobody goes to nxtcrypto, then I will have to resume posting here. I hear that pics of kittens are somehow effective?!

Oh, CIYAM! I liked the improvements to the house, but could you add the optical cloaking http://science.howstuffworks.com/invisibility-cloak.htm and Nikola Tesla's anti-grav http://www.nottaughtinschools.com/John-Hutchison/Antigravity.html? I want it to float and be invisible too Smiley

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
More seriously, I have a big announcement to make. klee is going to seed 1 million NXT for NXTcash operating costs! This is for adding zerocoin algos to NXT. Rickyjames will be creating an account for NXTcash operating costs and also an account for NXTcash completion bonus. The completion bonus will only be paid out after the community approves release of NXTcash. In the unlikely event that it is not achieved by year end, donors will be able to receive the funds back. zeroknowledge level anonymity integrated directly into NXT will be so amazingly huge, I cannot stress how important this project is. Please show your support and create a giant bonus carrot for the members of the NXTcash team.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Since I will have funding for operating costs, this means that I will be able to pay in NXT for qualified people to work parttime or even fulltime on NXTcash. PM me if you are interested.

For now, I am looking for a client dev to add zerocoin API calls (yes we have one now!).

I also need someone with deep statistics background to design and/or implement brute force statistical correlation tests. I want to make sure that even with total access to all the public info that no amount of brute forcing can make any more than random chance guesses as to the flow of funds. In math we trust, but for this zeroknowledge stuff I want to verify it too since I cant claim to understand the advanced maths.

BCNext paraphrased said:
"Trust noone - this is a very important principle. Nxt doesn't rely on trust but solves the problem of trust in another way. It evolves to a system that doesn't care about trust coz everything will be very clear. Transparency extended to absolute leads to inability to cheat thus removing necessity to think if someone should trust another one."

Now that people are testing AE and realizing that anybody can issue anything, I hope they remember what I was saying about ripple. The whole trusting the issuer is a GIANT problem that will not go away easily. It is good to see that many are now realizing the importance of cross chain functionality. Regardless of if it is invoked directly by NXT VM (etherium must be following us because they switched to something much like CfBopcodes) or simply available in NXT core or just possible, it is a really important that we achieve this. Due to this importance, NXTcommunityfund is hiring parttime or fulltime someone with experience programming BTC and at least one other blockchain other than NXT blockchain. PM me if you are interested. There is no spec on how to do it yet, developing that will probably be the first task.

I already have a 100000 NXT bounty for automated crypto gateway. Please make a directed donation for this to fund more developers. The salary for cross chain functionality will be coming out of the bounty, so hopefully we will get enough additional donations to replace the salary costs.

For now, I will limit the projects I post about here to NXTcash and cross chain project. When nxtcrypto is setup for the others, I will post about that.

James
