Before I bust out the credit card, a few things:

smart people: micropayments. Gotchas, caveats, things to consider re: micro payments sitting on top of Nxt. Can it simply be an AE asset? Or would it be a fork?

domain/hosting: I'm finished with the easy (braindead) and overpriced solutions like wix and weebly. What about something like bluehost + wordpress?

NEX also fails to compete with NXT because it doesn't have the know-how-how (doge pun intended) and it doesn't have the NXT network effect and the minds behind it. But you can operate BullDoge differently. You can see this also in how people view NEM - differently than NEX.

Because Doge has nothing but meme + enthusiasm.

Doge is great because it's accessible, fun, and isn't a community filled with metaphorical puckered assholes. It's something anyone can get into without spending $5000 at butterfly labs.

I can see both sides to this, the pros and cons.

Nxt does need some form of micro payments.

marketing: And I'm not really into promoting Nxt until it's ready. I'm tired of saying Nxt's client is a clusterfuck. I'm tired of apologizing for it. When I can show my luddite fiancé how to buy something (preferably her morning coffee) on her iPhone using Nxt, I'm in.

NEM isn't.

For a moment it looked like we were going to put up a middle finger with Bulldoge.
That is asking for trouble.

If done in good fun, no problem, but if you anger the Doge crowd, you have a huge problem, like it or not.
