Landmark event: I just crossed 24 hours so 1 day in logged in minutes/day so I wanna see what/if anything happens if I also hit 100 posts if I jump in rank to level 3 coins as 100 posts and 1 day seem to have a nice ring together just like to go to JR level was 4 hours and 4 posts.   

Here we go, I'm holding my breath.

what do these people want?  I've been on this thing nearly 24/7, high standards are great but can we lower them just in this once instance.

finshaggy, did you say you've been doing this devtome wirting thing for only about 30 days now or so?

I'm asking cause you have 5 gold coins to your name and over 900 posts and I'm still trying to just get to my 3rd coin so I can get access to some basic stuff like an avatar pic and stuff like that.

I'm at 23.5 hours logged in and almost 100 posts in roughly 10 days.  But that's not an accurate picture as I probably posted at least 5,000 words maybe even closer to 7,000, which is more than some people write all month for pay.  lol

Maybe there should be a variable added to this ranking system where the number of posts carry weight but also the length of posts cause it's easy to write 500 one line posts while the majority of my posts, the large majority, are at least 200 or 300 words and quite a few are over 500.  that's a lot when you think that you could spend the same time and effort doing the same exact thing and get paid for it by devtome/devcoin.

I posted like 200 times in the noob section before my 4 hrs was up, so I kinda had a jump start. Then I had tons of ideas and questions about bitcoin. And someone introduced me to Devtome.

Yeah, a lot of people got 1-4. I expected a big jump in share numbers at the end, but nothing really happened.

The number of posts? Like on Bitcointalk? Or on Devtome? I'm confused.

I took a note out of your book finshaggy and put some links to some of my papers at the bottom of my box here as well as a beggars jar with donation wallet numbers.  Lol, hey, I see them all over the place, you never know, maybe someone is gonna feel really generous one day and I'm gonna be there to answer a super easy question.

That's kinda how life works.

Speaking of which, Powerball lottery was $600 Million tonight and I didn't even buy a ticket cause I've been up and cooped up in the house since yesterday.

YAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!

IT WAS a full day (1 day) of logged in time and then 101 posts cause on my 102'd I got my 3rd coin and am now a real man, a real full member.  man it feels great when you actually work for it.  Now I wonder if this transfers over to devtome so I can post graphs, pics and diagrams for some of the papers I write there or if this is totally separate from devtome.

I'll find out soon. 

And the links are showing at the bottom of my page which is nice although the 3 coin wallets I put aren't showing even though there's plenty of room.  I think maybe cause I left too much space to try and make it look nice.

That's good to know.  It's stuff like this I have no idea about since I'm so new to all this.

I'm so tired and my back hurts from sitting so many hours.  I'm gonna try and go to bed.

Oh, a weird thing just happened while I was going through my devtome and copying the links to put them on here, my last essay disappeared.  That's weird, is that possible or did it get taken down?  It wasn't 1,000 words but it was something interesting I thought of and I just couldn't come up with 1,000 good words so I didn't wanna just put fluff, but there were at least 600, maybe 700 words then the stuff I copied and posted from wiki for which I provided a link source.  

I was trying to show the global trends and also the various key and high tech countries to show that nobody is talking about bitcoin, devcoin, alternate currencies or the fact we have 2 new billionaires nobody has ever met so this essay basically supported my theory in what I believe only one-tenth of 1% of the population currently is aware of what's going on and when some new catalyst erupts then it's gonna bitcoin 2.0 and 3.0 ....on steroids.  

But it's gone.  deleted.  Maybe I used too much twitter stuff but word wise the stuff from twitter wasn't more than 100 words total and I linked all the twitter sections so there was no doubt what was my writing and what came from twitter.

Oh well, at least I didn't lose a 20 page paper I worked on all night long.  

good night man...and good luck.  I'm gonna check back with MarkM (now that I'm a real man FULL member) to see what he says about mining some of those "worthless" coins cause I wanna hit this from every angle and I don't care if nobody wants those coins as long as it's worth mining them.

Hello, everyone, due to heavy load of faucet, ripple gateway and block explorer these days, I recently upgraded the sever running http://d.evco.in/ from a linode 1024 to 2048, that is, now we have 2G ram (and 20GB more disk space) that can run more *coind and apache process, so more people could be served at the same time now, cheers

your server has 2 gigs of ram total or you added 2 gigs of ram?  Sorry, but I thought we were now in the 16 gigs and higher computers.  Can you comment on the ripple advertisement I saw today, a big read ad which said ripple lied to you, ripple is a scam?  I'm a bit worried cause I downloaded ripple on both computers and gave them my email too.  Thanks
